Prime 47 - Indianapolis

Prime 47 is the paramount steak house of Indianapolis. An excellent choice for large groups, or intimate late night drinks. The staff is knowledge, attentive and courteous. You won't be disappointed.

My food was ice cold, and the sprouts where well done. Great flavor on the steaks just cold twice and for $96 it should have been perfect.

We love Prime-47. We have 4 children and when we have a date night a few times a year this is a Top choice. Over the years I would consistently rate it a 9/10 or even higher. The last time we went I felt a little rushed. Although the food was wonderful, I would probably rate the service a 5/10. When a stay-at-home mom does get out, she definitely wants to enjoy an evening that includes an appetizer, meal, and dessert without feeling pressured to get out the door. As I said, this is not the norm at Prime 47.

Calamari and rock shrimp is a must have appetizer. I would also recommend their prime meatball or sea scallop appetizers. Ask for their bread...it is soooo good. The Asian chicken salad was great as was the tortellini. Didn't have their steaks this trip...next time. $$$$$ pricey

Wagyu steak and truffle fries are amazing.

Visited here for anniversary dinner and was not disappointed. Food was amazing, atmosphere was awesome, and our servers were top notch. I had no complaints about anything. We made reservations, arrived on time (maybe even 5 minutes early), and were immediately seated. They had customized the menu header for my wife and I to help celebrate our evening, which was an unexpected but nice touch. Wait times for drinks, salads, and foods were short, but we never felt rushed. Portion sizes were ample, I did not leave hungry. There wasn't a dinner that was brought out to any table (and we watched several get delivered) that didn't leave us drooling and wishing we could try it all. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Excellent service .. food was savory and delicious. Brussels sprouts was one of my favorites .. lobster mac and cheese .. Filet Mignon.

Very pleased with our meal and first time at Prime 47. Great service along with our steaks being full of flavor. Perfect proportions with the three course meal. The ambiance was top notch was well. Highly recommend to family and friends. This steakhouse is right up there among the best in the city.

Wanted to say that the food was excellent and the staff was awesome. Was one of the best Valentine's Day dinners me and my wife had downtown Indianapolis. Looking forward to going back.
