The outdoor space here is one of my favorites. It's so unique and lovely. The beer has been nothing short of delightful. Highly recommend!

Wide selection of obscure styles, great staff!

This place has a special place in my heart for the sheer fact that I was able to get an entire flight of dark beers in spring. Love it! Also, they all had different and distinct flavors and were delicious. Fun fact, Pretentious also makes its own glassware!

Cool small spot with all handmade glass from next door. Great craft beers and great bartenders. Good events from time to time. Nice outdoor space. Sometimes crowded, but that just speaks to the beer, I suppose.

We were in Knoxville for vacation and our untapped app recommended this brewery. We stopped and it had to be one of the best decisions we made on the trip. The bartender, Hope, was fantastic, recommended the best sampling’s of beers we had in a while. Gave great conversation and told us where the best spots were for later in the evening. The other guests in the bar were very friendly and gave some local history and their recommendations.We are looking forward to going back to Knoxville in the future and this brewery will be our number one, two and three spot to stop at. The people here really made this stop special and memorable

The names of the beers are fantastic. If you like Hazy IPA this is a must if in Knoxville.

Great beer; some of the best in Knoxville. The real secret is their back patio, it's awesome.

Checked this place out while passing through. The glass place next door is neat, but we didn't end up buy anything. The beers were good, not great. They had limited indoor seating, but more space out back- though people tended to smoke there. The person working the bar at the time wasn't super friendly- I'd say pretentious. So, maybe that fits the expected experience. I really wanted to like the place more. I only tried a flight but they have a lot of high gravity beers that may have influenced some of the other reviews.

Great place for beer on tap. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any that I enjoyed, but we still had a great time. They offer lots of weekly activities, like trivia. I quite enjoyed the wooden plaques with the different beers on them.

This is our go to. When we wanna have a good conversation and a tasty drink this is where you'll find us. Great atmosphere, great staff, and you also can get the exhilarating rush of watching glass blowing. It's quiet how wonderful this place it.

Don’t let the name scare you away, Pretentious does a great job of not taking them self too serious, except their beers. Their names are off the wall, but the beers are all very meticulously crafted to perfection. Great patio out back and chill vibes reside inside the tap room. Don’t forget to visit the glass studio next door for some beautiful glassterpieces 😛

Love taking crowlers home and bringing guests from out of town. Sours are always pretty yum

This is really a great brewery. The beer selection is impressive and the quality is superior. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
