Founded in London in 1986, Pret A Manger is a fast casual restaurant serving organic coffee, hot breakfast, sandwiches, salads and wraps made throughout the day using carefully sourced ingredients. Every night, Pret donates their unsold food to food rescue organizations to feed those in need. Pret currently has over 500 shops in nine countries with over 90 locations in New York, DC, Chicago, Boston, New Jersey and Philadelphia.

One of the nicer Prets. It's really big and has plenty of space to sit and eat.

If you’re looking for a nice, calm place to grab a bite or to drink something in the middle of your day please walk away.
The waitress was absolutely rude and impolite (Esmeralda?) at 4:30pm today (8th of April). She started to mutter disrespectful comments, thinking that, as we were talking among ourselves in french, we wouldn’t understand. But we did. She really lacked maturity and respect, kept saying that « she talked to us nicely ». Last time I checked, the definition of « nice » doesn’t change that much from a country to another.

+ She managed to give us the wrong receipt (the one from the client before us, who had left at least 5 minutes earlier)

I would say that at the end of the day we ended up :- Being disappointed with pret-a-manger- Not buying what we originally wanted (pret-a-manger lost money)- Not planning on renewing the « prêt a manger » experiment ever again
