Precinct Kitchen + Bar is an approachable kitchen and bar focused on classic Boston cuisine. Both food and drink are approached in a familiar way that celebrate Boston's heritage, while expanding on tradition. Offering Boston favorites and classic cocktails, the menu plays off of beloved standards while innovating with a contemporary approach. Housed in the historic Police Headquarters on Berkeley Street, the restaurant is a true celebration of Boston's past and culinary future. Utilizing many local and regional products, Precinct is proud to partner with some of the best artisan purveyors. The kitchen uses meat, produce, and dairy from many local, small batch farms and is honored to serve these truly local products.

At first we sat outside and it was a nice seating area, then we moved inside. The drinks were ok and the service was fast and satisfying. The waitresses were super nice and friendly.

Really pleasantly surprised at how much we liked this place. First of all, staff were friendly and the ambiance is nice, open, quiet (it was a Monday though). Really impressive wine selection and great cocktails! The octopus app was one of the best I've ever had, perfectly cooked; the beet salad was ok, the cheese was weird and it wasn't dressed enough; the noodles and gnocchi were homemade, delicious, soft, not too heavy; the seafood (big, fat shellfish!) was well cooked, fresh tasting; the beef was super tender and flavorful. The chocolate lava cake was a bit heavy and rich, but overall, the whole meal was delicious and flavorful and filling. Will definitely be back when I'm back in town.

We used Precinct to host our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding September 2019. They were fantastic! The team worked with us to create a personalized menu for our 35 guests. We had a sectioned off area of the restaurant. which worked well for our large group. Very nice atmosphere for a rehearsal dinner. The food options were varied and were all delicious. Guests are still raving about the steak!I also hosted a groomsmen brunch here the day of the wedding. The menu was again great and all my guests were satisfied. Would recommend Precinct for any event!
