One of the best views of dc! They also renovated their hotel and revamped their cocktail menu so each cocktail is unique in its own way. Definitely a place to bring a friend if they’re visiting for the weekend.

POV, atop the W Hotel, has a fantastic view over the White House. It doesn't rest on those laurels though -- it has a lineup of excellent cocktails and dishes. I heard on good authority that it has one of DC's best burgers so checked out their signature Big Belly, which is a double patty with pork loin as a topping. The topping was great, but the bun was way too big and dry -- it's almost a 1:1 bread-to-everything-else ratio. The burger patties were a bit overcooked and also a bit dry, but presumably this is fixable in the kitchen. Only the bun took away a star. A $26 burger surely has enough margin for POV to invest in better bread.

One of the best views in DC. Rooftop staff was amazing. Drinks were great. Shout out to Andrew for making it an awesome 4th of July.

POV has always been a favorite of ours, and now even more so after it's renovation! It is way more spacious, it has a better ambience and decor, and a revamped menu of drinks and food. Well worth the visit!

POV boasts a great... OH "Point of View" - I get it now! - of Washington DC, with some pretty outstanding and artfully made cocktails to take it all in over. I did not order food but those around me seemed to be devouring it ravenously. I take this as a good sign. A little on the pricier side, but absolutely worth the visit.

The bartenders are friendly and attentive. I just went for a quick drink to admire the view and it was worth it! It didn't seem touristy so I tried to keep a low profile ;)
