Potter's House Soul Food Bistro Southside

Food is always good but customer service is lacking almost every time. I cancelled an online order over 16 days ago and still have not received a refund or a call back as promised by Mary. Half of a month during hard times and they don't even care.

Had the oxtails. I'm so full I can't even take a deep breath!

If you love soul food this is the place for you. I had the oxtails, rice, collard greens, macaroni and cheese, cornbread and sweet tea. I really enjoyed it all. Had enough left over food for another meal.

Unexpected out of town guest called an asked where he could go for Soul food? Had to tidy the house and get a last minute appointment with the hairstylelist on a Saturday morning. But i didn't have to worry about where to go for lunch!

Best place in Jacksonville. I come all the way from Dallas just to have their smothered pork chops. I would say just like mother used to make, but sorry mom...let's be honest, you never could cook like this place. If you did, I would have been 300 pounds!Also, don't let the gym across the way tempt you. Say away and have another desert. You will thank me.

Best soul food in Florida! No complaints. The workers wear gloves. The place is always nice and clean. Great customer service and food.

Oh my goodness this is the place for good food. Had smothered pork chops, fried cabbage, and green beans. So delicious. The staff was so helpful and friendly.

went to bistro sunday April 26 the customers was not respecting social distancing and the food was horrible we were in a long line although there were markers on floor the customers were still too close. I will never go there again. Most of the people taking and serving did not have on gloves or masks. One young man had a dirty cel phone in the serving area. A terrible experience will not go there again.

I called my order in and got there within 20 min. They didn’t have the person food in front of me ready—so instead of moving that person to the side and get the orders of everyone else in the line whose food WAS ready—-they stopped to fixed that persons 4 dinners —making the rest of the line wait and receive Luke warm food! I have always liked the food but the decisions for customer service are questionable. This is AFTER I have read the reviews of others and they respond—give us another chance— for what? It’s the same response!

My husband and I first time visiting and was thoroughly pleased! Highly recommend the braised oxtails! Will definitely return on our next trip to Florida!

Young golk work there are disrespectful to be a church resturant and get most of their workers from out of the church,

Very friendly and welcoming place. The food is great and taste like someone cares. What made my experience 1 in a lifetime is the love and kindness Ms Janine showed me. She made me feel right at home and i was going through something and she showed compassion. God bless her. Also the manager Ms Chrissy was very kind and understanding. Great customer service. Great place to eat!
