We had reservations at 7:00 for Father’s Day for 5. They did not hold a table for our party. We sat at the bar for 15 minutes and no one served us. We brought this issue to the host’s attention and he responded in an extremely rude and condescending way. There are many great restaurants in Greensboro. We had a fabulous meal with courteous service at Southern Lights that evening. I highly recommend it.

We came tonight..on a Saturday..with zero wait we were seated at a table only..booths were reserved for reservations. We ordered an appetizer and and two entrees. The marinara for the appetizer was amazing..I was hopeful that this would be the marinara I received with my dish..but instead it came with a different, thinner sauce that tasted like food lion brand tomato paste and water..with ZERO Italian seasoning, herbs or hint of what one would call a marinara or tomato based sauce!! Now let’s move onto the Marsala; I’m not sure I’ve ever experienced this dish served WITHOUT noodles but instead a side of noodles and that same tomato paste and water blend. In summary, it appears this restaurant pays more for positive google reviews than actual authentic recipes..most definitely would not recommend unless spaghettios is your favorite dish!

Excellent food, excellent service. Slightly slow because they were swamped, but we were not in a rush.
