Everything is perfect. Seafood is very fresh, highly recommended! The Octopus is the best one I have ever had. It’s cooked perfectly and seasoned very well.Seafood Risotto might look a little pricey, but IT IS FULL OF SEAFOOD!I will definitely recommend anyone visiting Miami to dine here.

Wow! Poseidon gets it’s right every, single, time. Whether you’ve been to Greece or are looking to get a truly, authentic experience, this place brings you there from the moment you walk through the outside patio, to the minute you step inside. The owners and staff greet you so warmly and make you feel like you’re part of their family instantly -- exceptional hospitality and service from the get-go! When you sit down, you feel as if you’ve been transported to a Greek island (what’s better than that!?) with it’s beautiful décor and Greek music. The food? Absolutely on-point as if you were in Greece. Everything is completely fresh, exceptionally well prepared and presented so beautifully. With every bite, you can tell that there is a lot of love that goes into cooking every dish. All-in-all, hands down, one of the best Greek restaurants I’ve been to. You get the flavors and ambiance of Greece, with out the plane ticket!

I really enjoyed an early dinner here. I searches a lot of restaurants in South Beach. Poseidon just floated to the top. It's a little confusing from the outside, but push past that and go in.Inside is a mix of authenticity and family charm. I had a number of selections and everything was fresh, and flavorful.The service was attentive, insightful and spot on with their recommendations, if you need a suggestion. I'd go back again.

When I say OUTSTANDING I mean it!!! The service and the food is the best of the best. Try it and you won't be disappointed . The prices are very reasonable for such a great food. Walking distance from the beach.Theoni was our server and she was absolutely amazing! Highly recommended!

Absolutely a must of you like great food. Staff is incredible and very hospitable. Inside and outside is kind of a swanky vibe with ambient lighting. Beautiful pictures of the Greek Coast. The appetizer, flaming cheese, was hot, crispy and gooey. Seafood, lobster & shrimp, was fresh and cooked to the perfect temp. Definately a must try.

Amazing service, outstanding and elegant food/atmosphere. Plus, SO FRIENDLY. I felt as if I had been there before and was part of their family; so personal and people-oriented. 10/10 will come back.

Hand down the best octopus in my life! I have tried so many grilled octopus including the ones from some michelin starred restaurants, like Marea. This is the BEST!!! The octopus was super tender, succulent and flavorful. I had it four year ago when I traveled to Miami and just couldn't forget about it. The red snapper is also juicy and tasteful. It was huge for two of us so we didn't have the appetite to try out other food. I am sure other dishes here are good too.A must try place in Miami!

I'm from Tarpon Spring FL. One of the largest Greek communities in the US. I'm always concerned about Greek food anywhere else (if you don't know how gyro is said... It's a hard pass)... Having said that.. This place rocks! The grilled octopus was amazing! Everything we had was great! Made a perfect birthday lunch!

Second time in Poseidon and as excited as in my first visit!! Red snapper is definitely such a suprise, so delicious and big you really don't expect it in that price! Flaming cheese and award octopus were my favourite starters.Everything was so tasty and well presented! Don't forget to order cocktails, were as amazing as the food!

Delicious and refined Greek food. Definitely one of my favorite spots for real and authentic dishes. The grilled octopus is absolutely amazing, as are the mussels! Food was so good that our only photo was what we left from our dessert!

This restaurant tops the list of having the best Greek food I’ve ever had. I highly recommend the hummus app and gyro platters. The pita bread is to die for, not to mention all of the delicious dips. And the two owners/award winning chefs were very warm and welcoming! Must try when visiting Miami!

Poseidon is my new favorite restaurant in South Beach! I tried a bit of everything. The Greek salad was amazing, love the big hunk of smooth feta on the top and the delicate herbs. The spanikopita was presented in a traditional spiral and was delicious, but the flavors just didn't pop. The moussaka has perfect composition and structure, but totally lacking in spicy flavors that make moussaka moussaka. The bechamel was totally bland. The leg of lamb was perfection, as was the baklava. All this washed down with a couple of shots of ouzo makes for a great meal! I would recommend swapping out the reggaeton for some Greek music to create a better ambiance.

Quick and friendly service! My husband and I came here for lunch, which had reasonable prices for lunch specials. Pictured is the grilled octopus, which was the BEST combination of flavors for octopus I have ever had. Not pictured are the lamb gyro entree with Mediterranean salad, and fish and chips entree. We are so stuffed and satisfied!
