The service was excellent. Menu good. A bit pricey for the lunch meal.

Great food, staff, drinks and owner. The only downside is that it can be quite busy, so reservations are recommended.

The food was very good, but the service and staff made it a wonderful experience. The carne asada was unique and fantastic. It was a pleasure chatting with Mauricio at the bar and the sample of sangrita he offered made my night.

Great food, good atmosphere. You do need a reservation. We were a walk in and sat outside but it was a great night for it.

Literally, everything we tried was delicious! The chicharrones with queso dip are super fun! The chimichanga with red sauce was yummy. Everything was fresh. I would definitely go back!

Love this place! Great southwestern cuisine from a family owned place. The watermelon salad was excellent, the short rib blackberry mole was fork tender and full of flavor, the ceviche fresh ans bright! Highly recommend!

Highly recommend by a friend but my experience was that of an old diner. Greasy raw cold eggs and cold potatoes on a cold plate. The only salad they offer is arugula which I really don't care for. There is nothing for your vegetarian friends but a cheese tamale that was like a brick my friend that had it commented. They cold the beans in meat stock so that is also not an option. Service was very good.

Love the chips n guac. The enchilada gave me stomach problem right after I got home. Service was good but the waitress could lower her volume down a bit. Overall it's overly price dining experience for a small town. Presentation is excellent! But I still love dining in SF.

The service was excellent, and the food was a surprise! Lots of fantastic flavors, creative combinations, and wonderful presentation of the dishes. The parmesan crusted cauliflower is a "must try" appetizer. It had the right amount of flavor to heat and is a sharable portion that will satisfy your dining mates. This restaurant was featured on KQED's "Check Please! Bay Area," so make sure you reserve a place for dinner. Lunch is probably easier to walk in and dine since it seems more folks are interested in the dinner menu. Our dining party was there for lunch on a Saturday, so the menu had a number of brunch items...like the soft fried eggs with a blackberry mole sauce.

Enchanting atmosphere, great but limited vegetarian choices, cauliflower is excellent and repeatable.
