Portland Patisserie and Grand Cafe

What an awesome quaint place. The atmosphere and music are wonderful. The food is excellent and a great server and bartender! Do yourself a favor and check it out!!

Service was good and menu was very authentically French. I went in right before end of happy hour and had a choice of different French liquors like pastis but also non-French drinks. Oyster selection was great for $1.50. Service was great.

The service was lovely but the crepes underwhelming. Pot de creme was sinful. The french onion soup was flavorful but not stellar. Let's just say uneven at best.

We went for Restaurant Week and had their prix fix lunch menu. It was good, but after reading all the great reviews we were disappointed. First, if it was their special I would have expected "special". It was good, but no one at our table was like " we have to come back". Second, when I asked the wait staff about an upcoming special event, her response was so lack luster, almost to the point of bothering her. We prob won't be going back anytime soon...

It is so good here. Came here twice on our trip of 4 days to Portland. Really loved the ham and Gruyère crepe. Lovely staff. Just a wonderful experience

It was nice, but not what I expected. The coffee was good... the pastries and sweets were nice too. The food items and salads are both interesting and tasty.It's very comfortable, nicely decorated and on a side street with less congestion than Exchange St.... a good place to relax and rest if you've been sight seeing.

Always a great atmosphere. The daily olates are always delicious, the drinks are phenomenal, and the creme brulee always leaves me and my boyfriend wanting more.

This was my daughter's 13th Birthday choice for dinner..she stole my spot. This is such a great place and great memories built here.

Loved the place. Great food, good wine and good prices. Nice service and dining area too. We also had a couple appetizers and a dessert but didn’t take pictures (we were hungry and dug right in 😉). All was great and I can’t wait to go back to try more things on the menu.

I feel like I'm in Paris! And the wedding cake was really good.

Their broccoli dish with horseradish sauce is one of the best things I’ve ever had.

Nice restaurant in Portland. We went on a Tuesday evening and they had a Prix fixe menu with 3 courses including a salad, a fish entree, and a dessert. I think this was a great value.They also have a special for the day which was a half chicken.The drink list was quite good and desseets were nice and not overwhelming after a big dinner.It was a very nice experience and I will definitely be back.
