Portillo's Hot Dogs

Have had a lot of different items here. Best so far is the Italian beef dipped and the chocolate cake. Onion rings are also pretty nice and for Wisconsin locations year round brats is awesome.

Best Italian beef around and a great Chicago style hot dog too. I've never not liked something I've gotten. Everything on the menu is great. If you are getting this for lunch clear your afternoon schedule. The portions are generous and I'm usual sleeping or wishing I was about 20 minutes after eating!

So fresh and fast! The grilled portobello sandwich is my go to favorite, and the Italian beef is my husbands fave. The fries are never greasy, the greens in the salads are fresh.

Some of the best hot dogs & Italian beefs you can get this far outside the windy city. Chicago style meals with 50's style decor. There's not an item on the menu that isn't great!

Having eaten at a Portillo's in my hometown, I was waiting for the day Wisconsin finally adopted the restaurant chain and luckily enough they brought one to the town I'm currently living in, the city of Madison and had the chance to dine in, decided to get the classic Chicago Dog, everything on it with cheese fries and a soft drink. Reminded me of being home, I will definitely be coming back here.

Great Chicago themed atmosphere, really good fast food option on the east side. Service is quick if you know what you're getting ahead of time. I would suggest ordering with their mobile app if it's your first time there you'll have more time with the menu. Portillo's is also unique in that beer is served along side the quick service menu. Really an enjoyable spot to eat.

Finally found a time when there wasn't a super long line, so we took the chance to go! Went inside. Immediately loved the decor. After taking awhile to look at the whole menu, we went with chili dog and a double bacon cheeseburger. Not priced too high. There are windows, so you can watch the cooks as they make your food. Real neat. The gentleman who was at the pickup counter was very nice and generous when I asked for some BBQ sauce for my fries.The burger was not greasy at all, tasted amazing. The chili cheese hot dog was also great. The restaurant was clean. Employees were great and friendly. Definitely will go back!

Husband is from Chicago, so this was his birthday dinner choice. He was pleased with his hot dogs with the right kind of relish. My burger was good. The cheese for the fries was appropriately hot and cheesy. The people were great, as was the soundtrack. Got chocolate cake shakes to go. It's good we live on the other side of town, otherwise we would end up here too often.

Their burgers are amazing. My favorite place to go right now! The burgers are cooked good, they don't fall apart as you eat them and don't ooze grease. Would reccomend, they also have good cole slaw!

First time trying this location after being a long time fan of Portillo's in Chicago and have to say that I was just as impressed. There's only one thing I order here and it's amazing every single time - the dipped Italian beef sandwich with hot peppers. Seriously...I try Italian Beef sandwiches at restaurants all over and none have matched Portillo's. Delicious. Wish there was one where I lived!

I missed this place when I moved up from Chicago (I've reformed, I swear), and was so happy to dig into one of their Italian Beef sandwiches with their delicious bread. Their chocolate malts are happy-making and their proximity to the fast-charging Tesla chargers make this an excellent spot to enjoy dinner while you wait. The ambiance is awesome...I really love the 50s diner vibes.

I had the big beef soaked with sweet peppers and cheese sauce. It was awesome! I cant express in words how good this food is. The service was incredible too. I hope they never go out of business.

Love the Italian beef. Fries a pretty good. My sister raves about the Hamburgers. Service is fast. Friendly staff. Next time in Madison would like to go there again

Portillo's has the best Chicago dog ever!!! I also has the Italian beef sandwich. Get it with peppers it was awesome. Highly recommended. Don't pass it by.
