Portillo's Hot Dogs

Great place for a quick fast food GOOD😊 burger! Not so good was that my daughter wanted to order a salad with crispy chicken vs grilled. The only way they would do that was to charge her for a set of 4 chicken tenders in addition to the price of the salad.😞😞 I believe she said the salad already came with grilled chicken, and all she wanted to do was substitute the chicken type. ??? I guess we'll have to figure that out another time. Still, a fun atmosphere and worth going back again. Hope they can create a solution to the salad mishap. 😀

Polish dog is my fave! Their jumbo hotdog is perfect for my hungry 4 years old boy. Chili is the best for my 15 months old. Very clean restaurant, staff are friendly. Sit on the second floor for more instagramable pics. Reasonably priced. Ample parking. Would suggest not to use too much food wrappers when the order is opted to be eaten inside the restaurant.

atmosphere rocks, an service was great. foods are at a proper level with the hype. head in an enjoy, it's definitely something you gotta experience.

Thank you Portillo’s for having IT ALL! The garbage salad, the onion rings, and that CAKE were all far beyond my expectations! The Italian beef was also to die for and my husbands favorite of the night! Great food in such a fun environment - 5/5 would recommend!

Food was ok. Three people of our group got very sick after eating there. Two immediately and one a few hours later. Can't say positively that it was their food, but that was the common factor. Loved it at their Naperville, IL location. Not the same.

Kinda loud, but the atmosphere is nice. Wasn't a fan of the food, but that was on me. I just didn't like what I ordered, my order was correct and fast.

I almost always come here for the Italian Beef sandwich although sometimes I will get a hot dog and when I get it, it is always the big beef sandwich as for me it is go big or go home. It tastes amazing and reminds me a little of Chicago though it does not come as close to the one I usually go to when I am visiting Chicago. The Strawberry Shortcake is my favorite dessert from them because the cake is so soft and the strawberries are fresh and flavorful with all the whip cream you can handle all in one bowl. I absolutely love it! Just recently I tried their candy cane shakes and yes! Whoever came up with the idea give that person a cookie and a raise! Love it!😁😁😁👍👍💜💜💜💜

Chicago dog done right. Even beef sandwich taste 👍. Dont be in a rush they take their time - so just roll with it!

Went through the drive through to try them out, I've been to other Portillo's in IL. Ordered 2 Chicago Dogs, Maxell Polish, and a burger with cheddar. Everything tasted fine but I dont think the dogs could have been more smashed. Almost like rolling up a newspaper smashed. Probably should've gone inside.

Their food is great and I've never had anything bad there. My son loves the cheeseburgers and fries. Fun place and nice staff.

I’m a Chicagoan who loves Portillos. Here I am in MN feeling out of place and wanting some comfort food and this restaurant cannot manage to get an order out in 30 min in the drive thru. And when we asked for an update clearly the person working couldn’t have cared less. Unbelievable how useless they are. Would never be treated like this in Chicago which serves many many more patrons. What a total disappointment. Still waiting. Just throw away this whole restaurant.

I smash everytime. The food is amazing. The staff is wonderful and the place is so nice and big great for family and friends. ❤❤❤❤❤

Portillo's is indulgent. You don't come here for a reasonable portion size of a healthy meal. You come here to indulge. Does it succeed in that regard? Mostly yes. Mostly. Service is fast and friendly, the food is big and heavy and mostly scratches the itch you're looking to scratch when you make a point to go there. The menu is big and expansive, which is always welcome.I see no reason why anyone would love it, however. The hype has been enormous.

Food is good and worth the wait... which there always is one. We went on Halloween night and brought our niece in. Though the food took forever, and they forgot multiple small things... it was still delicious. And I’m really only writing this review because the employee, Jerry, was working his butt off and making sure everyone was happy! He really deserves a shoutout (and a raise)! Thanks Jerry for being so sweet to our niece and making sure our experience was great!
