Excellent restaurant! Wonderful atmosphere, with superlative food and a good wine list!

Perfect modern Italian restaurant. Pasta, seafood, chicken, steaks, etc. Excellent service on a busy night. Food was fresh prepared and served hot. Waiter was very attentive and helpful. Definitely $$$. Dress is casual to dressy. They might even have valet parking.

The restaurant was so busy tonight. Our server Morgan was awesome! We had a nice dinner and really enjoyed her service. Hoping you are as thankful for her hard work and great service as we are. Thanks for a nice evening

Great atmopshere with good Italian food. Steak wasn't cooked very well, but the calamari and pasta was excellent. Will definitely return.

I really did not expect Porcini to be anything special, but I was wrong. The wait staff was really great and informative, their take on an "old fashioned" was actually pretty tasty, and the filet I had was very good. Im a HUGE steak guy and Porcini did a wonderful job on their 8oz filet, especially for an Italian restaurant. It was a steakhouse quality cook and cut. I will definitely be going back soon and hoping it was not just a one time thing! Thank you for a great experience during my business trip, Porcini. : )

I took my wife here for our anniversary. It was perfect. The staff was attentive and the food was delicious! They even wrote "Happy Anniversary" on the rim of the dessert plates in chocolate!

Wonderful scallop appetizer. Deliscious caprese salad. Generous penne carbonara. Can't wait to go back.

This review was for a slow week day. 4 stars for service, 2 for food. Reasons for weak food score is as it relates to cost and poor quality of ingredients. This restaurant uses processed parmesan (possibly kraft) instead of Parmigiano-Reggiano on Caesar Salad. Dressing did not seem homemade but from bottle. Anchovies are nice touch but did not appear of high quality. “Olive oil” that comes with bread is obviously of a very cheap quality, acceptable for an Olive Garden not for a $$$ Italian restaurant. Bread also shockingly is not freshly baked or likely baked on premises- which is surprising for a place that makes pizzas. I get that there is not a lot of competition for Italian in Louisville, but if this place was in a larger city it would not be nearly as well reviewed. I did have the “country ham and peas” pasta special which was good but did not blow me away. Wine list is nice but not great options per glass. Tip to owner, improve quality of ingredients and lower employee expense. You have too many employees and while I was there at 9pm all employees were ordering their dinner. That looks expensive!

Wonderful dinner. The steak was perfection! The atmosphere was awesome!

Loved it. Food was excellent. Service was great and fast. Pricing was what you'd expect. Parking was an issue but they offer valet and if you're OK to walk there is some parking on the side streets if you're willing to look for it.

My wife and I went here for her birthday and she got violent food poisoning. This is the reason Im writing the bad review. I overlooked the fact that the rest of the food was mediocre. There was a drunk redneck old lady cursing like a sailor asking to borrow my glasses and loudly explaining that squirrel meat is the finest meat. she ended up passing out on the table. when I called the manager to ask for the $27 dollars back for my wife's meal (not the whole meal which would have been normal) , the manager told me it was a stomach flu. expensive, price mediocre food, loud atmosphere. service was ok.

Bruschetta con fungi amazing! Great service as well. Everything was just wonderful.

The food overall is good. I had the Filetto Con Gnocchi. It was cooked beyond my preference. The Tortelloni Alla Matriciana was really good. For dessert, I had the bourbon bread pudding it was interestingly good. The Raspberry Lemonade cocktail was awesome. My favorite drink! *I am not a fan of the Fondi Di Carciofi Fritti appetizer.
