Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

We ordered Two Six piece combos from the Bardstown road in Louisville KY. We got it home and started to eat. Our mashed potatoes and biscuits were great. However the main course, your usual delicious chicken, was sadly inedible!!! At least half the strips in each of our boxes were dried out to the point of being unrecognizable as chicken. So thin and tough like they had been sitting under the warmer for weeks. And the other half were dry and thin as well. Almost like they were over cooked. We were very disappointed, This isn't the first time we've had this happen. Thought the first time was a fluke, but we were wrong. No one answered the phone and the mailbox was full when We called this could be why! We will think twice about going back. What a waste of money.

There was a short black child in the corner of the store awkwardly staring at me. Said his name was Terio. Good food though

Love the spicy chicken. Portion size of the sides could be better. The red beans and rice are good.

This location always has issues every time we go. Management needs to get all of their people on board to take care of the customer which is why they are in business and I say this as a manager of a retail establishment that stresses awesome customer service. They could be a very good fast food restaurant if they could get better at this.

I ordered mild. The chicken was steaming hot, it looked delicious. However, it wasn't seasoned and it had a burnt taste. Their food is usually very tasty.

Chicken Sandwich and Red Beans and Rice is Hard to Beat . Awesome Customer Service as well

Walked in the door and I felt the New Orleans vibe.The music was quite welcoming.Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and I loved it.This is one I'll crave again and again.Fast friendly service.Delightful experience.

The worst experience that I have had at any restaurant. I ordered at the drive thru. Was told to pull around. I waited nearly 40 minutes without my food being brought out. Went inside, was given the wrong order. Waited longer for them to correct my order. I finally got my food about 15 min later. Told the managers about my experience as I was leaving out. They gave me 2 free pies. As I was leaving I reached in the bag to give my 1 year old some onion rings and they were just about cold. I was too exhausted to wait or go back. This was horrible. I had 2 crying babies in the car and I was late to my son's last home high school football game because of this. I'm very disappointed and there should certainly be a greater compensation than 2 pies when I spent over 20 on a family meal. 😠☹️ the staff was not rude but the service was horrible.

The food is good but the drive thru takes a long time. There's a few staff members that are nice but most are rude and only half listen to orders. I have to correct them every time I go.

This location is terrible. Slow, not very friendly, and poor management. I ordered a sandwich with no pickles and I literally saw the manager hand it to the cook and told him to just pick off the pickles. So I ate my sandwich with pickle flavor still on it. The reason I asked for no pickles is because I hate the flavor of pickles.

Not exactly how I remember eating Pop Eye the last few years. I ordered the family meal but it seemed like the chicken was not well seasoned inside. The crust was superb though.

The hype is per bite. If you get a bite with all the ingredients evenly distributed, yes it's the best chicken sandwich. But any of the ingredients alone, like, too much chicken hanging out, or not enough sauce or pickles, those bites will be just basic Popeyes. But with all the things combined, fabulous. It's how you'd imagine the perfect sandwich might feel and taste. 9/10 would recommend.

Now these people really know customer service AND food! The staff all greet you like family, the manager personally corrected a minor mistake in my order, and gave me an extra side item for the wait. It's an experience I didn't expect in fast food. I will warm you, when they say "spicy" they mean really spicy. Not for the weak, lol. But oh so good!

Popeye Bill and Miss Sharon are running a great location! First time customer and super impressed. These two and their team provided better service than most sit down restaurants. The red beans and rice are low key amazing! Add them next time you go, it's well worth the dollar!
