Delicious Indian food, and it is vegetarian. Good service. I ordered #93. I took half of my order home. I was lucky this place was open because two other Indian Food spots near by were not. I would go eat here again!!!

We accidentally got full on appetizers and proceeded to eat four dosas, and ordered every dessert everywhere. It's pretty good family style food.

Great South Indian cuisine options and the sambar was fantastic! Definitely recommend it for South Indians with a craving for good dosas and anyone looking to experiment the cuisine. Vegetarian restaurant, and a little steep on the pockets. Picture is of the Mysore Special.

Food is OK. Not the best customer service. I ordered Dosa and apparently they charge extra for Sambhar and Chutney. Don’t accept cards until 20$ and still very pushy about the tips. I would avoid this place at all costs! There are enough good places in that area.

Very competent and friendly helpful waiters and restaurant manager. Lovely cozy and lively small restaurant with delicious flavorful and fresh South Indian vegan and vegetarian food. Tipu an Shohid are very helpful with the menu and suggestions. As soon as I show up they are welcoming me. They remember me all the time. I have been bringing friends and relatives there for years.

I had a bad experience today at Pongal. The experience manifested in multiple ways. Primarily, the food was not good to taste. It seemed like the food was pre-made and reheated (not a good sign). Secondly, the attitude: the serving staff seemed to had difficulty comprehending that people don’t always want a full dinner. I was meeting a friend and thought of grabbing a quick bite. The server made us realize that we were ordering only an appetizer rather than a full dinner. That was rude. Hence my rating for this place. Not worth the money. I wouldn’t go back.

The food was really good. The South Indian dishes are really excellent and capture the authentic taste. The environment is really nice and so is the service. A little too expensive though.

Used to be good but now every time I go they always have some excuse as to why they won't accept credit cards and yes, way too expensive... You should accept credit cards instead of giving excuses if you want to charge that much for so little. After all these years won't be returning anymore. Owners are obviously very cheap.
