Polpo Restaurant & Saloon

Really good Italian restaurant!! Food is amazing and at the right price for once, which is not bad. The mixed fried fish was spectacular, as well as the meatball pasta. The waitresses are really nice, always at our table when we needed but out of the way when we didn't. The only downside, which is the reason not to give a full grade, is the music: really terrible commercial disco music, which doesn't belong in this place at all and becomes quite disturbing after a while. Next time I will go to one of the other Polpos, and avoid the terrible music altogether!

Such a great spot. Stopped in randomly while strolling through Soho, sat at the bar, and were treated to marvelous service, great drinks, and amazing food. The bruschette with gorgonzola & cured pork was AMAZING. Plus it was Soho, so fabulous people-watching besides. We'll be back.

We went here for a meal. It was recommended in the timeout guide. The venue was casual and the staff were attentive. They offered recommendations. We started with stuffed olives and mixed Crostini, the crab one was delicious. For mains we had zucchini fries which were lovely and fresh, the clams and the prawns. We followed this with chocolate dessert washed down by a bottle of chardonnay wine. The price was good and we were stuffed by the end. Will. Be going back for different food next time
