Pollo Tropical

Found hair, two strands in my food. I can’t. To make matters worst, I waited more than 30 minutes in the drive through to get this hairy meal. I actually threw up. Oh my goodness. Stay away from this place.

Always a huge line. And ALWAYS out of crispy chicken. Pretty sure they say that during rush hour to avoid frying it. I always spend at least 15-20 min waiting for my order 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is strike three with Boynton Beach Pollo Tropical. I don’t understand the level of demeanor and careless attention coming from the employees. First one I asked for a quarter chicken dark meat only, they wouldn’t understand the difference then they gave me a totally burned out quarter leg. Next time I ordered soup. When I got my order the bowl was tilted and and all the soup spilled. Last but not least. I ordered 1 quarter chicken, rice and double yuca, guess what. No rice in the container. This is crazy! Management has to improve there.

We had our dinner. The food was warm, tasty and well served. The price was reasonable too. The floor was not dirty, but yet we felt the table was not so clean. Overall it was okay for a budget meal.

I really appreciated the great custumer service from the manager of this store. His name is Jean. I didn't get his last name. He is great in how he helps not only his staff to be efficient I there speed but also in how he attends to the customers. In my personal case, I was in a hurry because I had to get back to class with in the hour and I had issues with bank card. Which made me fall behind schedule. The place packed. The staff was working as fast as they could to make the customers happy. When Jean saw that I was still waiting he told me to go on ahead and start lunch and went out of his way to bring me my plantains. He is GREAT in how he manages everything and is very attentive. People like him deserve great pay for all the hard work they put into there jobs. This is the pollo tropical in Boynton beach. Great service

Service is usually not good. The same girls always have a "I don't care" attitude. Which is probably why the onions and the jalapenos in the self service bar are bad. Old. Rotten. They should be fresh every day at least. I should have taken a picture. I will next time. Im sure they won't change them.

Terrible burned and ashy chicken. I used to go to a location in Atlanta that was wonderful. At this Florida location, I ordered three plates. ALL three plates were burnt to a crisp and hard as a rock with no flavor. I give reviews all of the time. This is the worst out of over 500 places that I have reviewed. It is rush hour and I do not feel like sitting in traffic for over 30 minutes just to return it. The cashier was pleasant.

Horrible fast food place. Lady at drive through said that the dont do large sodas, only medium. I ordered a ceaser salad only to get home and find out they didnt put sauce in it at all so it was a waste of money. I asked for a large iced cup of water and they just gave use a cup of water with no cap and looked at us like we were stupid. I didnt get the ladies name but worst experience ever and waste of time and money. Never going again.

What's happening to the chicken? They used to be plump and juicy and lately they have been scarce and skinny and dry.

I will always love polo tropical unfortunately they discontinued the MASH!!!!! WHY?? they were bomb but still love you guys best prices for a great quick meal

The timleyness of this order was horrible. The order was incorrect..not by a little but a lot. No sauces for take out...when we got to the window and asked for our drink, the take out person disappears for 8 min. Our food was just sitting there cold. And a different employee came up and asked what we were waiting on..food...drink...sauces...pretty much everything. Id love to say this is the first experience like this..we requested a new order and they gave us the cold.one sitting and told us to call corporate. I will never revisit

Good. Always tasty. Fair price. Don't expect fast drive through. About 15-20 mins in rush times.

Usually I love Apollo Tropical but this location is consistently not cleaned - there are literally flies flying around and sitting on food and not a single table has been cleaned for hours. The chicken and the sauces were the usual but my coleslaw and Caesar salad were already going bad: didn’t have any more after the first 2 bites each. The franchise itself is good - I hope the owner/management clean this place up so it’s hygienic and functional.
