BEST CHICKEN IN VIRGINIA!!! As far as our family is concerned. It is a bit costly, so don't get as often as I like.They do, very graciously prepare my wings the way I like. "Burnt", I love my wings very well done!(30 mins). We are close to the Witchduck Rd store now. But YEARS ago lived behind London bridge. And then I would call, say,"It's the crazy wing lady", and they laughed and said " we will have them ready in 30 mins, Ms. Dillon.It is always nice to know and be know by friendly people. All stores are great!!

do not order them through an online delivery service. they consistently forget the drinks and give very small portions.

The only place I go for fried chicken! Chicken is perfectly cooked, hot and the sides are fresh.

I was disappointed. I purchased 2 dinners. Expected hot and crispy chicken. Got warm and overcooked, dry. Found better chicken at KFC. Maybe at another Pollards will be better.

I ordered chicken on Saturday to be picked up on Sunday at 4pm. When I got there to pick up there was no clear direction of how to pick up. Doors locked, no signage. A waiting customer told me they came outside to get orders. In about 5 min someone came out, I gave them my name. 5 min later, same guy came out and asked if I had ordered. I again told him my name and I was there to pick up a pre order for 4pm. He told me and others waiting we could could wait in our cars. I waited 35 min for my order that I placed 24 hours in advance along with at least two other customers that had called ahead.During that time people kept coming to the door and leaving. One car in the drive thru was blowing the horn. Maybe route everyone thru the drive thru, then park and carry out orders. And put up signs on the doors directing customers. Two stars for tasty chicken

Best fried chicken in Tidewater area, they have several locations. While getting chicken, get some Puffs, dipped in honey, they are delicious.

if you haven't had Pollard's Fried Chicken. Do yourself a favor. Forget about your diet. Go and enjoy. The service was wonderful the food was delicious. This is my go-to place for fried chicken

In my opinion, they make tehe some of the best chicken. However, last time my hubby went to the one at S. Independence, he was a bit disappointed. It tasted like that grease needed changing. And he is HVAC-Kitchen equipment. Eats out a lot, and works on kitchen equipment. So he is good with that?

The chicken is cooked perfectly. Cole slaw is flavorful. Dessert puffs are similar to beignets and are great with honey. The coconut cake is delicious. We ordered our food at the drive through. The attendant had a little trouble with our order due to a new computer system. He ultimately was able to place the order. When we got to the pickup window, we were advised that the order would take 13 minutes to cook. We were a little surprised, but ok if they were cooking it fresh. The attendant was very friendly and kind. They even gave us 2 free desserts because of the delay.

Chicken tenders were undercooked , mashed potatoes were awful! They were bad tasting and definitely not anywhere near being fresh. Not worth what I paid for. Will not return to this location , far from what I am use to!
