Great poke place: perfectly warm rice (brown / white), good ahi, pre-defined combos for those less experienced in making their own poke ingredients choice. Little seating options and no restroom. Unfortunately, there are no pre-marinated fish options. And this is what I would expect from a 5* poke place.

Great sushi burrito. Only real issue was that they keep punching, stamping, or checking the same spots on my rewards card. Also no vets or military discounts. Prices are decent for NYC

I was pretty exited to see pokework on mealpal. Pokework is one my favorite poke in the city. So I decide to try it with mealpalCame to pick up my mealpal during lunch.No wait needed, pick up and go.It was about half size of regular portion. Taste decent. But definitely build your own was way better.I think I will just pay regular price to get my own poke next time.

A very awesome place for food to go, just a little busy most of the time. You can pick 2/3 seafood and any vegetable and topping. Strongly suggest!

This was some of the most delicious poke I’ve had in New York City! For someone who is new to this dish, the staff were very kind, friendly, and were very patient in helping me out pick my bowl. I’d definitely visit this place again.

I was really expecting this place to be much better than it was, as I've been following it on Instagram for months and so all the good reviews on Google. However, this was an OK Poke Bowl but nothing special. I had the Hawaiian Classic, the ingredients were fresh and the taste was OK, but it wasn't super tasty and was lacking the flavors that I was really enjoying when eating Poke in Hawaii.

Pokeworks had an easy ordering process and huge variety of protein, vegetables, and sauces. Very filling.

It's a small place and serves delicious food. I ordered spicy tofu bowel, and like it very much.

My fiance has been wanting to go to this place for 3 years. We finally had the opportunity during our trip to NYC. We are both sushi fans and pokeworks definitely met our expectations! The staff was friendly and patient with first time customers like us. You got to choose your protein, your flavours, your topping, and sauces. I had salmon, mango, edamame, 2 types of seaweed and their house sauce. It was amazing! Sushi burritos are so convenient for on the go and very customizable. I would eat here everyday if I could. Our cost for 2 sushi burritos and one drink came to a little over $30.

good variety of selections for each "layer" when making your own. one of the few places I don't mind creating my own, however if it's too daunting then you can also choose preset items that they make in front of your eyes. lines aren't as bad as when it first opened, but due to the size of the place and how everything is made on the spot, you should expect a little wait

Great eat when you crave for sushi, quick bite.

*UPDATE* +1 starBoth one of the managers and DoorDash themselves reached out to me. My issue was solved. Thank you. Ordered from DoorDash. Good but would’ve been better with the avocado that I paid extra for. Also barely any sauce. Tiny bowl for $30 — I’ll go somewhere else next time.

Yumm. Customizable sushi bowls with great options. Love this place!

A great place for a poke bowl or burrito. I recommend taking your food to go since the seating is limited. As you customize your order throughout the assembly line, you can mix and match a variety of mix-in and toppings. You won't be disappointed with whichever protein you choose.

This was some seriously delicious food. A very nice intro to poké for me. I'd definitely stop back in anytime I'm back in NYC. Well done!
