Pok-E-Joe's smokes their own meats out back, and serves the essentials of Texan-style BBQ. Prepare for a feast of succulent meat, and save some room for the banana pudding. It is all available to-go, and the brisket and pulled pork is boxed by the pound. Ask about catering services.

Food isn’t that bad. Sanitation has a little to be desired however. Watch your cooks as sometimes they may touch raw meat & keep on cooking. While your sitting just look around, look up, look down... I promise you I will never be back

Best barbecue in Lynchburg. Had the sliced brisket sandwich which was amazing. Their house barbecue sauce cannot be beat. Great food, great price, with some friendly hospitality behind the counter.

Had the Hilltopper with cheese added. This might be the best burger i have ever had. Beef patty with brisket and cheese. Server was very nice and helpful.

The food was amazing and top notch! The staff was super friendly and so down to earth and attentive! I highly recommend this place if you happen to be in the area or even if you have to drive for a bit, it's worth it!

This is a great place! The interior may be a bit small, but with take-out service available that should not be a problem. The staff was super friendly, and the food... absolutely delicuous! I was even told when I opted for the side of Mac and cheese to be fried "You won't be disappointed" and he was right! I got a pulled pork plate and I thougbt the serving size was very good for the cost. And their own Q sauce was a delight. I plan on stopping back again!
