Plaza Azteca

I went a couple nights back with my kids. The waiter was attentive and our food was excellent. A little too much cilantro on my son's tacos, but he still finished his plate. Can't please everyone all of the time. I remembered how good the food was back in 2015 when we came to town to visit Busch Gardens. It was a no brainier to stop again while we were in town for another visit.

My best girlfriend and I ate here and who is the best place to eat at a reasonable price and so much food. Oh my God.

Excellent! Ordered enchiladas and they were great! The cheese & chorizo appetizer is a must have!

Very good restaurant for Mexican food

The quesadilla Reina (shredded chicken) and the steak fajita on the lunch menu is excellent, and the host(ess), waiters and waitresses are always very nice. I love/prefer to sit in a booth.

Love eating in the bar. Best Jumbo Texas Margaritas in town. The people are friendly, professional and the food always tastes great. What more can you want

Best Mexican food ever. Always fresh, hot and right on time! White sauce is always amazing, best sweet tea in town and fantastic service! We always went the Plaza in Newport News growing up and this location fits right in with stellar 5-star eating!

We went for lunch and it was excllent. The carne asada tacos were the best. I recommend to all.

Only the best food and service around

I've been to several Mexican restaurants in town and so far this is my favorite. The beef and chicken burritos for delicious and so was the fajitas. The rice is tasty and the chips and salsa are good.

Very Disappointing, came here last year and the food was so amazing we decided to return. Maybe it’s a change in management but the drinks were bad, the service was sub-par and the food was mediocre.

This place is a fantastic Mexican restaurant and the food is delicious. In the photo, check out the queso chorizo- it’s heavenly. But for the price there was too little of it. But I’ll go there again for it Because it’s so yummy.

Food was great and lots of it! Clean restaurant and fast service. We had our food "Table of three" in less then 20mins. From the time we entered the building to the time we left less then an hour but we were eating later like 9:30pm. Overall Great food and fast friendly service.

Our go to place for Mexican food. As locals for over 35 years, we always find the food here to be excellent, the drinks cold and large. Price are reasonable, service is friendly and attentive.
