Platos Coney Island

Coffee cup was dirty when brought out, cutlery had to be brought back twice. Food took forever to come out, and asked for water twice and finally came. Portions are big and food is very tasty, but service and cleanliness needs to be more in check.

Atmosphere is great. Seconds after sitting down a bus boy took our drink order. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful! Tasted great! Overall a great addition to Madison Heights and in walking distance to our home.

Best Coney/family restaurant in town, hands down. Great portions, homemade quality. Try them....you will be back.

Wonderful Chili Cheese omelet and hash browns. Delivered hot and fast this Sunday morning from Grubhub. Will be ordering again soon.

Food portions were great but they need to change whatever fries they use to something else. Food has no type of seasoning all plain and prices are a little high. But I can say the service and staff were amazing and very friendly.

Was a once a week customer until today. Unprofessional and rude treatment by staff is why I will not be returning. Ordered carry out at 11:30am on Mother's Day and knowing it would be a wait was normal. Was given a time of 30 minutes which would be 12 noon. At 12:45pm the order was still not ready. Customer's walked in, seated and food was on their table during this time. Decision was made to walk and go to another local restaurant. Called to cancel order and explain why and they didn't seem to care. During my explanation they rudely hung up. Lost a loyal customer.

This was a wonderful place to come. Great food, good service, excellent staff and cook. We would come weekly, live near by. Went today and total opposite. Food no better than a McDonalds. Service okay but out of several menu items. Food tasteless, lacking the great homemade taste they once served. We'll not be back.....

I was in the area and we decided to go there because it was close. AWESOME SURPRISE, we loved the place, the food was delicious, an excellent variety in the menu, and the portions were so abundant. I got a chicken gyro and my daughter a bam bam chicken mac and cheese. The pictures will show how awesome it looked. Nos fascinó este lugar nos sorprendieron las porciones y el sabor de los alimentos, excelente combinación de comida griega y americana. Vale la pena.

Good food good price I went right before close so everything had died down if feel like a family run place the way they talk to each other n that is the only reason this is not a 5 star review.

The Staff is very friendly. The food is awesome. Couldn't believe the portions. I got 2 meals out of the one. They are happy environment. You would never guess that they that great from the outside. I even met the owner. He poured my coffee. And chatted. Love it. They waitress was awesome. Its a definite stop. Next time I'm in Warren.

I would not send my worst enemy to this restaurant. Pleasant server, got our drinks, placed our order.......30-40 min later still no food. Carry out customer came in to pick up salad he called and ordered.....20 min later still nothing for him either. Finally found out there was nobody there to cook anything. Wth kind of place stays in business functioning like this!

I am in Love with this restaurant. From the shabby chic decor to the amazing family atmosphere, this restaurant is fantastic. Thank you to Maria the manager and staff, you always make this experience wonderful. I had a surprise birthday party here and from beginning to end the experience was amazing. Tammy our waitress always had a smile on her face and was on it!!! Maria was so accommodating and took great care of us. This place is my favorite restaurant and will definitely tell as many people as I can to come and experience this place. The food is always great and fresh along with the customer service. They put a new meaning to what a Coney Island experience is. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

This place served huge portions at a modest price. I had the Veggie Burger, which was made slightly different than other places which made it unique. The interior has a fresh new modern look and was clean. Three wait staff was very friendly. The food arrived fairly quickly, was hot and had a appetizing presentation. During my visit they had quite a few carry out orders. They had daily specials on the board. A large variety of desserts. And even a small table for playing checkers. This restaurant has become a new favorite of mine to Dinette.

We took the family here just the other night. Portion sizes are great. I have been eating the buffalo chicken Mac n cheese since I bought it 2 days ago. And it is still great. Deep fried pickles are also amazing. Highly recommend this place.
