The staff is amazing! Kind, patient, very knowledgeable on all the menu items! The food is authentic, fresh, and tastes delicious. The pizzas are true italian! The desserts are all wonderful. Great selection of wines and beers. Wonderful restaurant and love dining here!

Great authentic pizza and deserts. Very well priced and all their pizzas are very filling. Homemade meals with great service.

I absolutely love this place. Hands down the most authentic Italian pizza I've had in Toronto. Always a good time when I eat in and just as good when I get it to go. Staff are hardworking and just friendly enough. Do yourself a favour and head down, get a margherita pizza and take it to the park just south of the spot and be sure to chow down!!

What was once a decent place now only has its location going for it. Great looking place, but the food is just mediocre. Not terrible, but nothing we ate would make me want to come back. The pizza leaked water which was because of the fresh mozzarella we were told... But no other pizza place serves their pizza in a puddle. The Caprese salad was bland and the olives were super salty. The prices suggest a high-end Italian place with top notch food, but you end up with overpriced dishes that aren't worth paying for. It's unfortunate because it's a beautiful spot with a really nice atmosphere and the service was great.

What a wonderful lunch! My boyfriend and I had a very good time over there. The place is also very beautiful, ample and clean. The service was great! We first started with the appetizer (Antipasti) Arancino di Riso. It comes with 2 huge balls and they were amazing. Crunchy on the outside, and soft and with a melted mozzarella inside. For the main, we shared a pasta and a pizza. We had the Linguine allo Scoglio, which was perfectly cooked and it comes with a lot of seafood (and at the same time the food is so light!). We chose the Napoletana Pizza and the pizza... humm... the dough is perfect. It was light and soft, I could eat a lot of them! To finish the whole meal we shared their delicious Tiramisu.Overall, everything we tried was delicious, well-seasoned and well-served, as it's how the Italian food essentially should be :)For sure we'll be back!

Great and friendly service. Very homey feel about the restaurant. The only thing missing would be salt and pepper at the table as the pizza was a bit under seasoned, all the other food was great, especially the meatballs.

Went here for brunch on a Saturday. Food was finger licking good. Better than the food was our host. She was the most hospitable and accommodating person I have met. Not only she was cheery, thoughtful she was a big help in setting up a birthday treatfor my husband when I had to run to work . she made it happen .

Love this place! All pizzas and especially their creamy pasta with prosciutto are my favorites in the city. Haven’t tried their new locations, but the one that is on Kensington market is great

Hands down the best Neapolitan style pizza in the city. In the heart of Kensington market, Via Mercanti is an authentic Italian pizzeria. An extensive menu boasts many classic pies that will satisfy even the most experienced pizza connoisseurs. A brick oven delight. Service was excellent as well. Strongly recommended.

The food was ok. The pesto layered white pizza needs more cheese on top. I found the Pizza dough bit chewy. There was nothing so special about their thin crust pizzas but the prices were reasonable. Service was quick.

The food was great and in my opinion, holds a rustic authentic Italian quality. I would encourage the owners of the restaurant to allocate more effort in cleaning the facility - to be frank - lack of emphasis on hygiene is resulting in an elevated degree of insects.

It's authentic pizza that's worth the price. Highly recommend the pizza fritta (orange one in the picture.) And also highly recommend to get the tomato sauce based pizzas instead of the olive oil based ones. The service and ambience is also good if you're into restaurants that feel lively.

Seemingly simple but flavourful thin crusted pizza. Good variety of tomato based and olive oil based pizzas.

One of the best pizza places in the city. Highly recommend.

Great pizza dough. I had Traditrice. Really good combination with the IPA!
