Pizano's Pizza and Pasta Express

Traveled across town just to get a slice. And, even after ordering our initial pizza, went back for seconds and thirds-that's how good it is. It's also located in a vibrant and colorful neighborhood in Chicago with an amazing history.

The pizza was overcooked and the service was exceptionally poor. Not a typical Pizano’s experience.

Worst pizza we have ever eaten in Chicago. Salad was iceberg lettuce with kraft dressing so we asked for a different dressing and the waitress said that will be ten minutes...."I'm busy" ! Pizza was delivered cold and when we told the waitress she said, well maybe you have just been sitting here not eating it! The waitress her name was Summer, said "what do you want"? I said "hot pizza". Could it be frozen pizza??? Bad attitude, bad pizza.

Driver is a piece of s%#t. After patiently waiting over 90 minutes, the delivery man was extremely rude. I tipped him on the original receipt (when I ordered at the location) And the second receipt (at my hotel) .... AND gave him cash to make him happy. He was still 'out of control' rude!!! I will never order from this establishment again.

This place is horrible!!! I’m not from here and ended up having to order here because we arrived in the city later than expected... we asked that the pizza be delivered to the room door because my husband has a broken leg but the driver refused... the pizza had these gigantic whole pineapples on it... we asked for two liters and got two canned pops for $2 dollars a piece... then when we called back the lady that answers the phone was totally rude and getting smart... I will never ever order from them or recommend this place!!!!!! I want to give it no stars

Shane was our server when we came here with a group of 21. He was super friendly and accommodating. Our food came out quickly. The only issue we had was they forgot to put our Gluten Free pizza in and so it came out 15 minutes after our other pizzas. Other wise, the place was great and the location is awesome. Parking can be a bit of an issue but it’s downtown so you should expect that.

HONESTLY THE WORST! It is February 24th my bday here at the hotel! I booked a suit and decided to order in to celebrate and I specifically ordered a LARGE DEEP DISH PIZZA 1/2 jalapeño 1/2 pepperoni. The pizza was a decent price which is not the issue I would’ve ordered a $60 priced given a bday event. I contacted the delivery driver and he said “I don’t work for the company I am just a delivery driver” I continued calling to replace my order & no answer. I understand the 2.7 star rating now, despite the ratings I gave the benefit of the doubt understanding that I was recommended at The Virgin Hotels where I am staying for an event. This was very good and the service was on point. I ordered delivery and they brought plates and napkins and plasticware to my room. The food was very tasty and you get more than enough for the price.

The pizza took about an hour and 15 minutes to arrive. Not a big deal on a Friday night. We ordered the deep dish vegetarian. The crust had texture and taste of cardboard. We couldn't eat more than two bites. We also ordered garlic bread which tasted stale. Not a good experience especially with the cost. $$

The pizza lacked flavor and was overpriced. We were charged $50 for two medium pizzas that disappointed. The thin crust tasted like flour and was overly brittle and the sauce tasted like canned plain tomato sauce. I was pleased that the delivery time was much sooner than promised, but we would not order from here again.

Off the chain !!! Pizza was/is superbably delicious !

Great service! Amazing Bruschetta and awesome salad! We had thin crust pepperoni and a deep dish cheese which was epic!!

Its a good place good atmosphere good food and good prices!

Food was good. People were nice. All very kind and fast paced.
