Pita Pit

I love Pita Pit. We usually stop in once a week. The gyro "Fork style" is my favorite. The toppings are fresh and everything is tastes great. If you order delivery, it typically takes about 45 minutes, so don't wait until you're STARVING to place your order. We've never been let down by Pita Pit. It's definitely a favorite in downtown Auburn.

Always open and always good

It was a delicious pita but WAY overstuffed and quickly became too messy to eat. They are a bit overpriced I think.

I recently visited Pita Pit in Auburn, AL and the experience was awful. The food was non-satisfactory and I reached out to the staff in order to return the food and receive a refund and they were unconcerned about our complaints. I also reached out to the regional manager of the establishment and he was extremely rude and apathetic to our customer experience. I feel devalued as a customer, especially after choosing to spend my hard earned money in order to benefit a business. I will not be returning to this establishment and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Open late, healthy, within easy walk of campus downtown. Love Pita Pit!

Underrated food spot in downtown Auburn

I always have a good experience here. The staff is really friendly and usually quick. Chicken ceasar pita is my go to. They also stay open late which is convenient after a night in downtown Auburn. Will definitely be back!

The single most underrated restaurant in auburn. Prices are a little high but nothing crazy. Food is fast and there is always seating. Unbelievably good pitas.

Love this place for the fresh tasty ingredients, generous portion and the great friendly service! Its also spectacular that they have such late nights!

I really liked the service. My server was really friendly and prepared awesome and hot pita as i needed.

TLDR: Great food but service is hit or miss. Order online with ASAP pickup time and then show up within 10 mins.Long Version:Preordered with a pushed out pickup time but was unexpectedly able to arrive ~13 mins early (completely expected to have to wait for my order prep) and my order was already bagged ready to go. Had I arrived on time my steak pita would have been cold and less desirable than normal.Another time when I went to the place to order, the service was incredibly slow due to short staffing. The lone employee was hustling and did a great job with my food but it took ~25 mins for me to get my order and I was first in line ahead of the rush. Totally a staffing issue; the employee did the best they could.My best result has been to order online with ASAP pickup time and then show up within 10 mins, despite the 15 or 20 min buffer the app gives. That seems to be the sweet spot; everything is still hot but is ready to go and I'm in and out in no time.
