Loved my moist brisket sandwich! My husband had ribs, lean brisket, potato salad amd beans and loved them as well. 😋 I am so glad we decided to give this place a try.

I do not recommend this place. Ordered 2 large brisket potatoes @ $26. Both potatoes were cold and when we were about to eat them we noticed they were dark brown. How could they have not seen it when they were loading them with the butter and brisket.

Small meat portions with a lite smoke taste. Good service. Room for about six tables inside and three to four picnic tables outside. "Cokes" are HCF Colas. Sides are sufficient but usually cost extra. Look at the picture of the menu I am attaching.

We had their brisket sandwich. They were very moist and delicious. Totally recommend this place. Very friendly and welcoming.

For $10 per combo, I expected a good sized sliced brisket burger; what I received was a McDonald's sized DOLLAR BURGER. They expect you to fill up on 1 side and 1 large drink, I will not visit this POS establishment again. I feel ashamed to actually know ownership... *this place is NOT WORTH THE PRICE...

This was my experience . I recommend you try it for yourselves . So I stopped by with high expectations based on others reviews . Because I frequent other really good bbq joints in the RGV , I decided to order the moist , as I usually do . Well this one was a lot more fat than I am used to getting . The actual meat was tough and dry . The corn on the cob was a dirty yellow/brown colored and not tasty at all . The sausage link was extremely dry and overdone . I ate as much as I could because I paid 20 dollars . Didn't touch the corn after the first bite . I give it 2 stars because maybe it's my fault for having higher expectations . Maybe I'll try the ribs and the lean next time with a different side .

Checked it out today, brisket very moist and great taste. Chicken was awesome along with sausage. Potato salad was the best I’ve tasted in a while!!!

I am southern to the Core and this is good ole southern bbq. I have eaten from this place a few times. Huge over stuffed baked potatoe with tender chopped brisket and falling off the bone ribs. Tonight i had the dry rub chicken. Very flavorful, tender, and moist. Sweet & tangy Sauce on the side. Southern style potatoe salad and bacon seasoned green beans round out the most scrumptious dinner!!! Shame on you people to even dare to compare this to shoe leather burgers from McDonald's!!! Thank you Pit Stop for the great food at the most reasonable prices. Thank you for remaining open for carry out during this pandemic and Thank you for not price gouging!!!!!!!!!

If you're looking for a good barbecue place, COME HERE. Was tired of the regular bland bbq places and decided to come here, wow. Food was AMAZING. Had the Overloaded Potato and was not disappointed. BARBECUE WAS STACKED HIGH, had a great taste and juicy. The Bacon-wrapped Jalapeno Poppers were TO DIE FOR!! NEVER had I had a better jalapeno then there.

Excellent BBQ. Brisket was moist and flavorful. They have awesome jalapeno bombers stuffed with brisket and cheese. I will be back. Note: bring cash or they will add a charge for using debit or credit card and I saw NO sign stating this. Didn't notice until after I left.

Ordered the the family meal of brisket (3 lbs) and 3 large orders of sides for my mother in law Birthday and she loved the the whole meal. The family loved it too.

The owners are very sweet people, only second to their delicious food. I had the 3 meat plate and every single thing was absolutely outstanding, outstanding! Love the quaint atmosphere ...what BBQ places should be like. About BBQ. We will definitely be back many times. Our new favorite local BBQ.

Simply the BESTEST place for super moist and flavorful brisket and sides. Every single visit has been deliciously AWESOME! All the sides taste yummy and homemade, their chicken is never dry and their ribs are fall-off the-bone INCREDIBLE! Definitely the 👏 best 👏BBQ👏 in👏 Harlingen👏 hands down!

I had the 3 meat plate on Saturday, chicken, baby back ribs and brisket. I was very happy with the quality of everything. One thing to point out, is their dry rub is a sweet dry rub, it's still good, I just prefer one less sweet. I will be ordering again in the near future.
