Pistores Pizza & Pastry

I went to this restaurant with my daughter, who loves pizza, and my wife, who doesn't eat pizza unless she is traveling in Europe. Both of them liked the pizza here. I somehow feel that a truffle pizza would be a great addition to this restaurant, and hope they add it someday, but until then, there are several different pizzas I would love to try. Also their croissant is probably the best in town. Interior is cute and simple with style. I am so happy that I found this place! I am sure my family will be a regular here for pizzas and pastries.

I didn’t take pictures of our dinner unfortunately. You will NOT be disappointed! The Detroit style deep dish was a beautiful blend of thick, fluffy and buttery goodness in your mouth! The chicken Parmesan was amazing!!! The chicken was very high quality and the Parmesan sauce was very tasty! It was late when we arrived and we didn’t order desserts until after 9p (our fault) and several items were sold out. The ones we got were delicious! I cannot wait to come back a different day and try the other desserts! They make all of them in house!!! AND do not forget the gelato! I have eaten a lot of gelato in my days, this was some of the BEST!

There is no host to greet you or tell you where to go to be seated. After being seated it took 20 minutes to put in our order. It was then more than 30 minutes to get our food. We ordered a salad that did not come out until after our pizza (and only after we specifically asked). We had to flag our server down multiple times to get the check. That said, both the pizza and salad were delicious. I would order takeout from here without hesitation, and hopefully will return once they’ve gotten a better service system down.

So pumped this place finally opened! The Detroit style pizza is light, crispy, and absolutely delicious. The almond croissant is buttery, flaky, and not too sweet. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!

Had pizza and a tiramisu. Very very very good. I can tell they are using the best ingredients in everything and the flavours were outstanding. Keep up the great work!
