Piper and leaf has definitely set itself apart from all other tea joints. The first time I tried P&L was in Huntsville and I was extremely excited when I heard about the Birmingham location. We can all take pride in this locally owned business and their down to earth attitude! My first time visit to the Woodlawn location was very similar to Huntsville, great people willing to serve and fill you in on anything you would like to know about the tea! Sammy is a wonderful employee and very helpful.I love that they keep their customers up to date via social media at all times.It's always worth the trip and I look forward to their possible grand opening in August.

Must try the strawberry teas

Easy to miss from 1st Ave as it is tucked in a short strip, but do not be deceived! Piper and Leaf has a wide and flavorful selection of hot and iced teas, samples available, and answers for all your questions. They also have a beautiful gift sample set. The Briar Patch tea is so tasty. This will be a regular stop on every future visit to Birmingham, but I may also take to their website to supplement in the meantime.
