Fresh is everything to a seafood restaurant, especially ours, and we try our best to deliver fresh seafood to your table each and every visit. Local fishermen and crabbers leave our shores daily and guide their boats out into the Gulf of Mexico to fish on behalf of Pinchers. They return each night with the best that the Gulf has to offer. They bring this precious catch to us and are one of the primary reasons for our success. In 2007, we purchased the Island Crab Company on Pine Island to serve as a fresh seafood facility for our restaurants. By having our own local facility, we can deliver fresh fish and shellfish to the table faster and fresher - whether its Grouper, Blue Crab, Stone Crab or some of the wonderful fish that you'll see highlighted as specials of the day. We were near for vacation and used Google to find a good seafood restaurant. We didn’t quite realize it was a local chain so it was just as good as a chain can be, filling our bellies with as much shrimp we could eat. They only lost a star because it was a little run down but good service.

In short, this place was terrible, our waiter assured us it was a fluke, but I think not. DO NOT get the fries because they are not freshly cut as they say they are. Instead, they are most likely thawed than warmed up. When you break the fry in half it was dry potato in the middle. Disgusting. The manager needs to be addressed about this problem.

Bought broiled scallops as take out with mashed potatoes and cole slaw as sides. HUGE disappointment! Very few undersized scallops, no cole slaw at all! Just a bunch of tired lemon slices. I am very disappointed with Pinchers.
