Pik N Pig

The Pik N Pig is a very casual family eatery next to a small aircraft landing field. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food is very good. Prices are very affordable. No credit cards, but there is an ATM inside. Covered outdoor seating available.

The food was really good. I like the ambiance of this place as well. It's located on the airport, so if you sit outside you can watch the planes take off and land. The only downside is that they only take cash. They have an ATM on site, but it charges a $2.50 surcharge. For the prices they charge, they should be able to accept credit cards.

Food here is absolutely amazing! House smoked and pulled BBQ, sweet potatoes with brown sugar, apple sauce and the house made cornbread it's the best. This place also features a runway for planes to fly in for a quick lunch. It's awesome being able to see the planes land and take off. Service is done team style and you'll always get a "sweetie you good?" "Honey, you need anything?" Any server is always happy to grab something for you. Pricing is very fair for portion size. Remember to bring cash as they are a cash only business!

First time here and came in a party of 8, which included a baby. We were told by phone that ribs would start being served after 4 but they could sell out in10 minutes. We arrived around 4:10 and were told the ribs would go out after 4:30, which was fine. We were seated at a round table in the center of the first room. We loved the personality of the place and the decor and people. The planes coming and going were cool and my kids loved it! Oh man!! The food was killer! I had the pulled pork and it was honestly the BEST I’ve ever had. It was tender and no fat! Four out of my group had the ribs and they couldn’t stop raving how great they were in taste, color, portion size, and freshness. My kids enjoyed their meals too. No complaints! We will definitely be going back.

I seen the raving reviews as I was looking for good food during my travels and stumbled on this gem. The service is great, staff is very friendly. Their food was so yummy!! I was very happy to have leftovers. For dessert I chose banana pudding, one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. Definitely hope my travels bring me close to there again, I'm craving to go back!

What an interesting place for a restaurant. Makes me wish I had a plane to fly in.Great hushpuppies and fries. Bbq was tender and smoky. Plenty of seating inside and decorated with plenty of flight memorabilia. Great memorial outside to one of the local WWI veterans.Great day trip if coming by car or plane.
