Pier 48 Fish House & Oyster Bar

We used their carryout option, and the food was fantastic. The scallops were perfectly cooked and the lobster mac was to die for. The clam chowder was fantastic as well. The staff were absolutely fabulous. We cannot wait to come back to dine-in soon!

Seafood was extremely fresh for being in the midwest. If your looking for good seafood, then this place is worth the time. Service was great as our waitress did an excellent job handling our party of 15.

Great atmosphere and excellent quality seafood. The lobster roll with hot brown butter, was amazing. Probably the best clam chowder I've ever had. So many other items on the menu to go back and try! Loved it! If you like seafood, this is a must try restaurant.

The main reason for the rating is the price and quality of the oysters. We had 12 oysters 2 varieties, 6+6. They were not properly cleaned (full of oyster shell shards) and not freshly shucked and cost $45.50. The rest of the meal was pretty good, Caesar salad, chowder, cedar plank salmon, fish and chips were all good.
