We visited this with our Italian foreign exchange student. She picked it out for her dining day. It was awesome and very authentic. The owner is from Italy and the food is amazing. Loved it. Our student loved it to. I would recommend.

The food was absolutely delicious, definitely worth the 15-minute wait.

My favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. Can’t stop coming back! They want you to feel welcome. Shake their hands and say thanks, they will remember you!For reference, I’ve lived here about ten years and have been to every Italian restaurant in north beach. This is the spot.

Came here one day as the other place had too many people and turned out to be a great surprise! Great pasta with fantastic meatballs! Staff is funny and would come back again to try out the pizza!!!

A cozy friendly environment with the most delicious pastas and fair price! I will go there any time I’m in San Fransisco. 100% recommended.

Piccolo Forno is right across from the Italian Homemade Company. Just tried a slice of their Pizza Piccolo Forno that is thin sliced with olive, eggs, artichoke, tomatoes and tuna. It was good, but would have been more tasty if it were hot right out of the oven.Would suggest using paper plates instead of a thick pizza box since I'm just getting a slice.

The food was simple but great. This is the best place I have found for crispy pizza. We got a big salad and Vegetarian pizza and out was enough for 2 people and only cost $25.00. Great deal.

The people who are working this place are very kind. I ordered the lasagna and it was very hearty and very tasty. However the wait for me and my friends' food was somewhat long. I think the food is definitely worth it.

🎯So grateful for the perfection of things sometimes🤪Stumbled into Piccolo Forno in such a serendipitous and synchronistic way. I’d been driving all day and wishing for some good Italian food, gave up on the idea of dinner at all because I was running late for my show and it was right at the time-edge when it’s sacrileg to go into a restaurant that’s near closing. While searching for a parking spot for the event I was attending I ended up three blocks up the road ‘lo and behold’ there was an open parking spot right in front of Piccolo Forno. Peeked in the door to feel the vibe and they welcomed me with gracious heart and made me the most beautiful salad and artichoke stuffed raviolis. Beyond any picture my imagination would’ve come up with.... So very very good!!! ~Thank you for the kindness and fantastic food, Piccolo Forno!✨🌟⭐️💫

The place to go if you want pasta or pizza. I took my favorite plate: penne ala Arabiata. The sauce was as authentic as you can get. The other plates looked great and I will definitely recommend anything on the menu. You can bring your own wine, there is a liquor store a block up. Try the lemon sorbet it a traditional treat that help digest - perfect with an espressos.

A cute nice little Italian restaurant that has really good food that's unlike any other! The fettucini Alfredo was light and not heavy at all, leaving you wanting more. Highly recommend if you're in the San Francisco area and in the mood for good Italian food!

Was walking thru little Italy and came across this place. Had a little but of a wait due to a couple large parties taking up all the tables. The food was more than worth the wait. Homemade gnocchi and bread were delicious. The guys working there were so kind and friendly. Even gave us a free dessert for having to wait so long. Would recommend to everyone.

Warm atmosphere, volume of the music is low enough to have comfortable conversation. Pizzas were great, full of flavor and also pretty big! This is my new favorite in North Beach!

This place is awesome, I discovered it recently walking through north beach. The pizza tastes straight out of Italy, and I was just there for 2 weeks last year eating pizza practically every day. They focus on a Roman style of pizza I believe, it’s thin and crispy. I’ve had the sausage and mushroom, and the prosciutto & arugula. Both were fantastic, today I had something similar to a focaccia sandwich, I went with the owners suggestion and it turned out to be awesome. Super crispy focaccia dough layered with prosciutto, & mozzarella on the interior. This is the kind of restaurant that you can’t go wrong with what you order, they really know what there doing & I highly recommend it!
