I love this place!! Came from Melbourne Australia and the food, service and atmosphere here makes me wish I lived here. The standards and quality far surpass the price tag, in all honestly it’s worth way more than what we were charged. All the waitstaff were great but especially the female, she was full of energy and made the dining experience amazing!!

Small space but worth the vibes. The pasta is delicious and the octopus was excellent. I had the eggplant!

Amazing appetizers, pasta, wine, and service. Best Italian food in New York City. Don’t go anywhere else before you eat here. Real, authentic Italian cuisine! Make a reservation though, they don’t take walk ins. Only about 10 tables in each restaurant!

I have eaten in so many places in NYC. This is by far some of the freshest, most home made tasting food and atmosphere I’ve ever experienced.

I rate their food 5/5. And in consideration of the lunch special and its very reasonable price, I’d give this place an exceptional 6/5!One rarely finds good seafood in the United States of No Fresh Food (including this terribly expensive city), but Piccola Cucina is an exception. Yes, it can’t match the very best in Italy but it’s close to the very good ones, especially in consideration of its humble price. The service is also outstanding. I have always been very pleased with the waiters and waitresses. To be honest I was displeased once because the waiter seated fitst two ladies who came after me. But upon my complaint, the waiter made multiple attempts to make it right for me. Impressed by his great attitude, I ended up leaving a large tip and will definitely be coming back again and again in the years to come.

Well stop me if you’ve heard this before but i wanted to like this place. I didn’t.Tables - bunched so close together that it’s convenient to eat off ANY table - including those to the right and left of you.Prosciutto appetizer - tough and stringy + a near absence of flavor... this cannot happen.Entree: a mash up of clams & pasta ... no bite, just a bland blend ... come on now!Summary: 3 kind stars.....

This is an extremely small place with very limited seats, so it is more ideal for small groups. The salad was extremely disappointing as it had literally zero dressing on it. When we asked the waitress about it she simply passed the olive oil & balsamic vinegar asking us to dress it ourselves, which I thought is extremely uncreative. If I want to toss some oil on my leaves I would chop my own salad at home. The pasta dishes however saved them from a very terrible rating as they were incredibly delcious and well executed. You can literally tell that this is some home-made pasta that was cooked with passion and authenticity.I can not agree however that this is the #1 spot in NYC, however hopefully with how well this place seems to be operating they can move to a bigger location.

One of the best meals I’ve had in the city. The pasta is made fresh and is to die for, so succulent and huge portions. I took the lobster pasta and was out of this world. The service is incredibly folky and friendly, you really do feel you’re eating at nana’s house.

The food was good and the service was also. It is a small restaurant but it was a very nice setting.

Food here was amazing. The ravioli a ragu was amazing. It was literally one of the best pastas I ever had anywhere I've been. Make sure you order the canolli. It was also the best I ever had. There's very little room, so make a reservation and be ready to be touching the party you come with. The servers are really nice and funny. I would really recommend this place.

We heard this spot had the best pasta in town. New Yorkers are known for claiming everything is the best so at first we were skeptical, but we were proven DELICIOUSLY wrong. Our dishes were incredible! We shamelessly returned twice within the same week.Honestly though, what a wonderful place to kill a pasta craving! Tiny place, but you don't mind being seated outdoors to do some people watching.

It is a small place with maximum accommodation can be max 30 ppl.Limited menu but tasty and cheap. I would say it is a place where you can find authentic Italian food at a very reasonable price and their food quantity is good. I could not finish my home made pasta .... it was way too much for an individual with my kind of appetite .
