Pho Co

We really enjoyed this restaurant! The menu items are a bit different than what you’d find in other Vietnamese restaurants. We had the deep fried frog legs and the clams both very delicious as well as a green porridge — which was very flavorful. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the this restaurant with the decor and menu items. They are very friendly. The only thing was that service was a bit slow — feels like they were understaffed on the night we visited. Otherwise would love to come back for their other items!

The unique hot stone pot keeps the pho broth warm and tasty for a longgg time. I love how they cook the beef and they maintain the good quality time after time. I can tastes the ginger and all the herbs flavor in the meat..yum... The owner once told me to eat the pho with their house special pickled garlic.

This restaurant is supposed to be an "authentic Northern Vietnamese cuisine". I can't tell whether it was authentic or not, but I can tell it's not as good as other Vietnamese dishes I've had from other Vietnamese restaurants. At least it is clean and beautifully decorated, service is quick and courteous. Too bad that I probably won't be back. If you decide to give it a try, take a stroll along this newly developed Vietnamese mall.

Northern Vietnam cuisines. We have been here several times for their Cha Ca La Vong and Crab Eggrolls. They provide a lot of veggies with their cha ca, and we like that’s more than Thien Long. We ordered an order of Cha Ca and an order of egg roll and that was enough for 4 people.

Amazing beef hotpot. It really reminded me of being in Vietnam. It tastes even better then what I had in Vietnam due to better quality of American beef. Must go back!

This is in my experience the best beef soup in town. It's not as known as the nearby pho but this pho tastes better, the beef is better too. I love the number one ox tail special. Will try the appetizer crab roll next time. Definitely give this a try and be your own judge!

Special menu for San Jose restaurant week. Chicken was really good. Unfortunately, they were out of the dessert and substituted coconut water(served in the coconut, but not a good substitute for dessert)Also had Pho and frogs legs, both were tasty. Didn't care much for the escargot or mussels, both were mediocre. They were also out of white wine. This was a Wednesday at 4pm.

Oh my my... absolutely delicious! The Crab Rolls are big and tasty. The Fish Soup with Dưa Chua reminds me so much of home food. Cá Kho Vũ Đại is as good as my mom used to make... I'm so glad to come here. Love the sweet and attentive service... The decor is lovely with high ceiling...5.3.2019: I had to come back to this restaurant with 9 friends for a birthday and surely everyone was so impressed with the food and the service! The Chả Cá Lã Vọng was so delicious with all the herbs, Green Onions, noodles and delicious sauce. The highlight of our meal was Beef Hot Pot! The cooked meat was so tender. The fresh meat was so delicious after cooking in the broth. It came with 2 kinds of noodles: bánh phở and mì vàng.. Did I mention that the staff is so accommodating and kind? I guess I'll come back for more text time. Enjoy your delicious meal and SanJo!
