Pho An Hoa

Food was great! Service was slow. Server was quiet but polite. Took forever to get our checks, had to ask for them three times. One check was over charged by 3 dollars.

A friendly, unpretentious Vietnamese restaurant with solid food for a low price. We had the rare steak pho, chicken noodle pho, the chicken and rice platter, and a pineapple smoothie. I especially liked the flavor of the steak pho which complimented the rich beef flavor with star anise and other spices. The pineapple smoothie combined the sweet taste of pineapple with the creamy smoothness of coconut milk. Service was friendly; it seemed to be family run. Our hostess was supremely amused by one of my companions attempts at pronouncing 'thank you' in Vietnamese ha ha.
