Pho 79 Vietnamese Cuisine

The place was not hard to find. Great decor. Clean. Large place but understaffed. Fast service. Food came out super fast n hot. Price pretty much the same as other Vietnamese restaurant in the Virginia Beach Area. Except I get more at other location. I felt like I didn’t get enough seafood in my H2. The broth was a little saltier then I liked. Overall not bad. Coconut juice was yummy. My bill came to about 15 not including tip. Maybe next time I’ll try something else.

Great location. Ask for Danny. He has great recommendations. Lots of yummy food. The Pho warms up the body in this cold weather. Try the appetizers and bahn mi.The restaurant has a clean and simple layout. Next to Trader Joe's in Hilltop area.

My choice for lunch at least 2 or 3 times a week. The service is always quick and im in and out within the hour. Works well for me and I hope everyone gives them a shot. Keep the coffee in mind as well if you are brunching. It works well for a great pick me up! Plenty of apps tonalso choose from and I definitely recommend the spring rolls!

Seeing all of these great reviews about this restaurant, we stopped by to grab some pho. Clean. Beautifully decorated. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Good selection of dishes. That was my first impression upon seeing this place and the menu it offers If you are looking for really good, authentic Vietnamese food within the VA Beach area, this is not the place. Pho is average. The broth is too dark colored and murky with a lot of MSG added.

I have been to several Pho restaurants in the MD/DC/VA area and this place is by far the BEST Pho I have ever had, the broth was well seasoned and can be drink by itself, they give you a good amount (either small or large) and they are no afraid to put meat in it, I had the one with all the meats on it and asked for a side of Prime rib. The staff was courteous and fast to deliver everything, definitely coming back next time I'm at VA Beach, I wish I would've discovered this place earlier

The quality and the decoration of the food was amazing. Everything was awesome. I honestly didn't expect this kind of taste or the food quality. If you like Vietnamese food, this is the place you need to be. You won't regret it!

Best hangover cure! Best service! Nice quiet atmosphere. First time we came to eat an hour before closing (we didn't realize until later) and staff were still just as sweet and welcoming. PS: Get the Thai tea!

This place just wasn't like the way it was 5-6 years ago. It used to be really good. Ordered spring rolls and they forgot about it but one of the server was kind enough to put an extra one in. They looked like they've been sitting out for a while though. The broth was alright but not the best that I've had. Service was nice though.

My daughter's favorite place to eat. The food is good and the staff are friendly and capable.
