Pho 79

Service and food was great. I forgot that we pay up front and I asked for the check and the server was quick with "pay up front". Overall it was good.

1st time visiting this pho79 place.Pretty chill and nice customer service.Food was decent, I liked itOnly reason why 4 star cause interior like booth move around where you can literally sit down and push it back. Also leather is damaged where you can see cushion(sponge) coming out and turning into dirty color.

Had the best Vietnamese bubble tea ever! The food was good, a little oily, but great flavors. Everyone in our group was very happy.

SO glad I finally tried this place. The pho was great, but not better than other well-rated places in Norfolk. But the Bún Gà Nuong blew my mind! The chicken was cooked to such perfection that I had to change my definition of perfectly-cooked chicken. The sauce was light but potent and everything was the right temperature and texture, and was cooked to perfection. Super fast delivery, too!

It was ok, nothing to write home about. I got the shrimp soup with extra chicken. But I didnt finish eating the shrimp when I realized they dnt clean their shrimp. Or season any of their meats. I've only had this dish once before and it was made by a good friend in their home(which was 100% better). I was expecting something a little more from such a popular restaurant.

I would definitely make this a stop on the list if you are ever in Norfolk. Great Pho, nice pleasant service and never have to wait to long for a seat or a meal. Would recommend to friends not just family :)

Best bang for your buck and vary fast service

The #4 pho was really good with steak, flank and brisket but could have been hotter temp wise. We had the spring rolls with fish sauce and our waiter gave us this delicious brown chilli sauce. It was really amazing with the fish sauce, so good we ordered 2 more spring rolls. My son had the coffee and he said it tasted like a very strong but sweet espresso. A great dinner thanks to Pho 79 and my wonderful son.

Fast service, delicious flavorful pho, and they add lots of meat. Great for a rainy cold day.

The good was fantastic. I had the vegan rice fish. It came with tofu, mushrooms, carrots and other veggies. The flavors as ND textures were well balanced. I had not had Vietnamese food before and will definitely go back.

Maybe because I'm used to west coast food, but I was pretty let down. My pho was mostly tasty, but Sriracha definitely played a role in adding flavor. The peanut sauce served with the spring rolls tasted like corn syrup, not appetizing. And the spring rolls had no veggies in them except lettuce. Veggie spring rolls were rice noodles, lettuce and tofu served with peanut flavored corn syrup. I don't recommend, I won't return. Service was also rather slow, although our server was friendly.

The Pho was absolutely delicious and authentic. Will definitely go back!!!! Wait staff was very polite, service was super quick and the restaurant was very clean!
