Petit Robert Bistro Columbus Avenue

Petite Robert has been on my list of restaurants to visit for several months, and I finally got a chance to visit for a Saturday brunch shortly after opening. When arrived, the staff was not welcoming at all, and acted like I was in their way. They continued to set up through about 10:30am and I didn't really get any service until it was time to pay the bill.My food was decent, but nothing special. Below-average quality for the price, even in Boston. Suggestion to ownership: ensure brunch is meets your standards, or consider eliminating it. Maybe it's just a matter of preparing more in advance or opening later. My experience reflects poorly on the restaurant and has removed my desire to come back for a dinner in the future.

*Covid Update as of 4/23/20* they are open for take out for limited menu selection. Please see photos for information. Great service. Sweet, small, local establishment. Menu had delicious options and the wait staff were very attentive and helpful. Cocktails were amazing!

This has some of the best food I have had. Highly recommend it if you are in the area
