Amazing hand packed ice cream. Splurge on a sundae and sit outside at the tables and enjoy the calm summer evening. Seriously one of the best old school ice cream parlors in Chicago, a lot like Margie's or Bobtail. Highly recommend

Loved the Mint chocolate chip ice cream here. You can get single or double scoop in a waffle come or cup. There are indoor and outdoor seating.

Love the ice cream and the location. It's a beautiful old building in a lovely neighborhood to walk around with your treat. I only reserve the 5th star because the prices are a little steep. It was over 4 bones for a single scoop in a plastic cup. As I was walking out, I realized I could have bought a quart to go for just a few dollars more and kicked myself in the butt. I think I'll take it that way net time.

The ice cream is very good, and the hot fudge is incredible. My kids rarely comment on the taste of ice cream. But they were very outspoken about how good this ice cream was. I highly recommend!

One of the oldest, still running ice cream parlors in the state but nothing nostalgic inside would tell you that. The sign and exterior design are an indicator of the history here. The ice cream is good much like most other ice cream shops nothing really old fashioned or throwback to the "soda fountain" days or "malt shop" here but none the less, still good ice cream!
