Get the Octopus appetizer! It was tender and lemony and grilled and so very delicious. The Greek meatballs were fun and the salmon in filo with spinach was everything a salmon spinach pie should be: equal parts spinach and salmon and wonderful taste. I was there for Restaurant Week and the menu included a good variety of apps and entrees.

We had dinner for six. Had not been back for 8 years which was too long. Light interior and buzzing but not loud at all. Terrific service. Great appetizers (try the octopus) and the mains, especially the filo enclosed salmon and the chicken kabobs. The wine list has many Greek wines and we had a recommended Santorini white that was perfect for the food. Get ready for a hefty check as this does not come cheap, but is a great meal.

The best. Periyali has a tasty fixe prix menu. The seafood is delicious. The portions are small but are pretty filling. The atmosphere felt very inviting as if I was actually on vacation in Greece. Not very expensive. Great desserts too.

Someone suggested this place for lunch and I had no idea this place existed - space was empty at 12 Noon but as we enjoyed our lunch it filled right up. The grilled octopus appetizer was on the money and better than I've ever had in the city. I had the branzino and this was pretty good - not over-seasoned and not too complex. The flavors of the fish did all the work. One has to do a fish entree when coming here. I enjoyed my time here.

Amazing Greek cuisine! There are many reasons to come here, a great selection of traditional tasty Greek appetizers, mains, and dessert. But really you should come because the food is delicious and made right. The salmon wrapped in phyllo is my personal favorite, but there's something for everyone. The grilled octopus is amazing, the Greek salad so fresh, their feta cheese is great. I wont lie, this place is not inexpensive but it is most definitely worth it.

Wow! What an absolute gem! Authentic Mediterranean cuisine in a very lovely setting. You must try the grilled octopus starter - words cannot describe how fantastic it is! Service was impeccable, decor perfect, even the ladies restroom was "next level" nice (and clean!). I will be back!
