To say this is the best coffee in DC would be an understatement. I have not tasted a latte this smooth in a long time. I can't wait to be back!!!!

Looking for a friendly place to caffeinate and meet up/get some work done? You have to try Peregrine. It’s pricey compared to chain coffee shops and seating is limited inside but for me the extra cents are well worth it. The baristas rock, the coffee is good, and I’ve never had an issue with the WiFi.

The staff is incredibly friendly. They are a blessing to the neighborhood during this uncertain times.

A cup of black coffee was all I needed while visiting from out-of-town and this place delivered! Delicious! Loved the small outside seating area.

Kind staff, great coffee (drip, iced, and flat white), and decent amount of seating! Great place to grab and go, sit for a while, or sit and people watch!

I was excited to try this location after having a great cappuccino at Peregrine in Union Market. While the cappuccino here wasn't as good (was a little too heavy with the nutty coffee flavor -- some might enjoy that, however), I still think it's the best I've had on the hill. I am definitely willing to try this location again, since it's an excuse to get out of the office for a little bit.

I would lile to give a five star review due to the fact that the place was neat, staff was friendly, enviroment was chic. But, I do not like much Robusta grain coffee. I always prefer Arabica. Although, barista even gave me a glass of water without asking which I appreciated it

Friendly service with the taste of fresh grounds in each sip

So very poor and underwhelming. The staff were ok, but very unprofessional!

If you care about the quality of your coffee, I believe Peregrine is #1 in all of DC. It's fresh and crafted by talented baristas. Seating space can be a challenge, but worth it for the coffee. It's a great place to pick up a bag of coffee beans too.

Best coffee on the hill! So yes, it’s a small space and there’s no reclaimed hardwood or triple whipped pumpkin spice walnut macchiato but they are hard to beat if you just want an excellent cup of drip, pour over, or iced coffee.

Serious coffee sippers converge on this snug spot for carefully made espresso drinks, snacks & more.

Great shop to get a pour over and relax. Close to the eastern market. Staff was knowledgeable and able to answer questions about the coffee.

I always get a straight espresso first time I go to a coffee shop to see how I'll like the rest of their stuff, and this one was awesome! Will definitely be going back.

One of the best in DC! Multiple locations and all provide excellence. This location, Eastern Market Area, has a great vibe with lots of great walking and little shops and places to eat close by. Grab a cup and go for a stroll. The Baristas are always friendly, knowledgeable and never in a hurry... which is a good thing. They take time to make a good cup or latte. Using locally roasted beans by SmallPlanesDC. Americano and Latte are always on point. If you’re looking for a good Third Wave style coffee shop or just good coffee in general this is the place to go. They also have a great selection of tea.
