Pequods Pizza

Truly amazing deep dish! The pizza crust has a delicious buttery flavor, soft & chewy on the inside and caramelized and crispy on the outside. They also have an amazing lunch special and free refills for your sofa of choice (as long as it's a fountain drink, not in a bottle) This pizza has broken the code for the perfect ratio of cheese to sauce and the pepperoni was crispy around the edges not flat and rubbery like some places. My server was really sweet & made sure to come over several times to make sure I had everything I needed. She told me there pizza was going to take about 45 minutes but it came out as a nice surprise around 30 minutes! GO HERE! You won't regret it!

Better than what Chicago tourists consider the best which is typically Lou Malnatis. For me the pizza is a bit doughy but the quality ingredients really shine through apart from that. The caramelized part of the crust is terrific and everything is incredibly flavorful. These guys make one of the best deep dish pizzas I've ever had. Keep up the good work!
