Peppone's Ristorante Pizzeria

This hidden gem is GOOD! I had a bit of time to kill so I stopped in to try it out. I ordered the Grandma's spaghetti and I can't wait to finish my lunch. My server informed me that my pasta was going to be "green" because it's Pesto based,which I was expecting, but I understand her intention. I ended up with another very polite gentleman taking care of me the majority of the time but I appreciate the "it takes a village" mentality. You can tell the bread is fresh, the portions are perfect, especially for $4.95 for lunch. I can't wait to go back, with more people. The only thing that keeps this place from a 5 start is that the bathroom was a mess. The soap dispenser was out of order, the faucet handle was broken off and the paper towel dispenser wouldn't work. It's not a show stopper for me though.

I had a great experience. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the food. I had the ague went past the with fried chicken and it was wonderful. It felt like eating in an Italian home. A great experience especially for the price.

When I tell you how ecstatic I am about this place it literally goes to the moon and back. I'm from Vicenza, Italy and this place reminds me of home all the way down to the taste and representation of their food. Columbus has definitely received a great restaurant along with a great staff to run it!

I love the restraunt. The owner is friendly as are the staff. I love the food and it has never been over cooked. I go twice a week to try something different each toe. The garlic knots are WONDERFUL!!!! Love the pizza, my personal favorite. A must try!!

2nd time eating here. So happy they have eggplant parmigiana. Sauce is delicious. Homemade fresh crusty bread with garlicky dipping oil. Would recommend for lunch. Large portions and very reasonable prices at 4.95. Very pleasant staff.

I had the fettuccine Alfredo with fried chicken. My mother had the Chicken Piccata. Both were delicious and it was obvious that the sauces are made from scratch. Our waiter was great. The owner, a friendly Italian who is also the chef, came by the table to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Will be back!

Great food! I understand that they're working on getting their liquor license which will enable you to have a little wine with the ravioli or beer with the pizza. Friendly staff and good service.

This place is a special jewel in Columbus! We went for lunch after friends recommended to us... Absolutely AMAZING Italian food! We had the BEST pizza we’ve had in many many years! The Owner and chef is from Rome Italy and speaks Italian.... The General Manager, Morgan is a special person. Folks, DON’t miss this AMAZING restaurant! Everything is fresh and homemade and this clearly is the way Italian food, and pizza was intended to be served and taste! Absolutely Outstanding!

Wow oh wow, such an AMAZNG place to eat !!! The manager Morgan was fantastic. She made sure to explain every issue that the establishment had since they were busy with only one cook. The food came out steaming hot & delicious. Definitely will be coming back to visit !!!!

This is the most disappointing pizza or box of flour I’ve ever had in my entire life. I couldn’t even bother to finish it. There was a pile of flour thrown under the entire pie. Instantly regretted not ordering Papa Johns instead.

Well first and foremost! Our server was very uninterested in helping us and we felt as if we were being rushed from start to finish food at best was barely average and bland and service was just pitiful! But for that price it shouldn't be that bad! Maybe caught them on a bad night or something but I will never be back chief boyardee in the can has more flavor!!!!... but we gave y'all a try and was very disappointed with the night as a whole!!!.... better luck to someone else because we will no be back...........

Authentic Italian food and made from scratch pizza! What else is there to say?

The food is delicious!!! The staff is wonderful. All six of us loved the pizza, the appetizers and the veal piccata. As my niece lived in Italy for two years she is picky and she loved it. Very authentic. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was excellent. I had the Italian cheese steak at the recommendation of my server Lamar and it came with the most delicious tomato soup. The service and food were great and will definitely be back.

We loved it. One of the best in Columbus. Pizza had great dough and flavor. Pasta array was impressive. Tasteful ambience and kind staff. 👍🏻👍🏻
