The food is good, however the down side is it's piping hot, like really hot, that is if you get the sizzling platters, it being like 80 outside, the sizzling platter was not the way to go. Each bite is burning your mouth as you struggle to cool it down and eat. the bathroom is wonderfully clean and even have heated bidets, basically this is the place to go in the winter, during summer you may/will sweat, if you choose the sizzling platters.

If you want to eat a good steak for cheap, Pepper Lunch is the place to go. You cook the food yourself so you can have it any way you want.Plus, the staff is very helpful. They can suggest good items for you to try.

I've had this multiple times before in Macau but this week was my first time trying the NY store. Went yesterday with a friend and had to go back today with a bunch of my co workers because it was just that good! Discovered the Kim chi cheese beef pepper rice today.. Could be a lil bit salty but really good otherwise.

One piece of advice: add CHEESE! I’m a regular here and this is one of the best casual eateries in the area and good bang for your buck in terms of portion sizes. If you order right you will have a meaty, cheesy, saucy plate of Japanese marinated meat and pepper rice.

Love the cook your own style of this restaurant. They have salt and pepper and other condiments to compliment your meal. It's very tasty, and lives up to the expectation.
