Pepe's Cuban Cafe

I moved from Miami where you find a Cuban restaurant in every corner and with competition comes the best food. Moved to Tampa and after experiencing a few Cuban restaurant came across Pepe’ Cuban Cafe and I most say not only was the best Cuban food that I had in Tampa but overall in a long time. Jose our waiter offered us not only an amazing service but allowed us to have an amazing experience with the best flavor of Cuban food I had. Thank you Jose and everyone at Pepe’s you have customers for life.

We have been there before and the food is just alright and the place is dirty like some of the other reviews have said, but after tonight I will never return there again. If I were able to give this place a negative star I would. The owner started screaming at one of his staff and then at some other customer's when they tried to help the staff member. All in the middle of the dining room. We walked out right after sitting down. No one should be treated the way this man was treating not only his staff, but his patrons as well. Terrible, just terrible.

Couldn't get a salad, out of lettuce at lunchtime, still had the rest of the day to go...they should go buy lettuce somewhere...service slow, only had one waiter...he was working hard, but needed more help...food was good

Great hostess for starters. Can never fail with Cuban made coffee... StarDulls can't match it, you know the chain..... perfect fried eggs...

The BEST Cuban food ever. My husband and I go here often (it’s our hidden gem) however we just had to share with our friends and family so we had them cater our wedding last weekend and it was pure AMAZING. The owners are incredibly sweet and truly care about their service and passion for food. We couldn’t have asked for a better restaurant to to be part of our wedding. All of our wedding guests were amazed with the food. Hands down best decision we made. Love you guys!! ❤️

Amazing plantains! The staff were excellent in hospitality and answering my obscure allergy questions. The restaurant itself is a work of art and definitely worth stopping to check out.

Very nice selection of Latin cuisine I would recommend this location for your Latin flavor needs.

It's was good. Good food. Good atmosphere. I was told we were there on an off morning. It wasn't busy at all. Waitress said it's normally packed. I had a Cuban breakfast sandwich and coffee. Both were really good. We live right around the corner so I'll be back.

Unbelievable and awesome place, it was my first time there, we had Sheena as a waitress and she was great, very attentive and the other servers were as well, the place was immaculate and very nice decorated, everything felt in place, we decided on having appetizers and we had their chicken empanada which was delicious and had a fair size, also we had croquettes one ham and the other one chicken and they were okay, not great but still have a good flavor and crispness. The spanish bean soup was marvelous, rich in flavor and texture, we also had the Tostones with chicken which were perfectly seasoned and the tostones were well cooked, their yuca side was delicious and for dessert we had Cheesecake with Guava which was smooth and just perfect and the Tres Leches, another great dessert which a great flavor.

Food was great. I got a Cuban and it was amazing. The lunch time service was really slow though. It took like 30 minutes to get our food and we were one of only a handful of people in the restaurant. If you aren't pressed for time it is a great place.

Everything was amazing. Very courteous staff and great pork. Came here to learn Spanish words by reading the menu. Left with a full estómago.
