I've eaten here several times. Their shrimp tacos are great! Everything else I've tried is ok. I ordered the tamale once and it was cold. When they are busy for lunch, service lacks a bit, but usually they aren't very busy during lunch hours. They have $2 tacos on Tuesday!!

The best tex mex in Covington. They also book pretty good bands on weekends. Try the nachos, tacos, and their chimichangas.

We really enjoyed Pepe’s, the food and margaritas were very good, the only thing I could say could be improved would be the chips tasted a little stale but could also be because they are house made and not covered/ saturated in salt. Our waitress was great and service was top notch so if it was bad before it has greatly improved but we have no issues what so ever. We will be back for sure! Glad to have this restaurant in downtown Covington.

Taco Tuesday is the best! Feeling adventurous? Go for the oyster taco. Not so adventurous? Grab about 3 of the rib eye tacos. Then wash them down with some amazing margaritas!

My favorite Mexican Restaurant in Louisiana. They have, by a large margin, the best Shredded Chicken Tacos I have ever eaten!! They also make the very best pico!! My brother and his wife always share the shredded chicken nachos. They are fantastic and impossible for just 1 person to eat....it is HUGE!!

My husband and I love Pepe’s! We have been several times, and it’s gotten better and better each time. I had the chimichanga, and it was off the chain! The guacamole is fresh and delicious. Nice thin chips. Customer service is great. Live music. Quaint downtown location. Love it!
