Paulys Hotel

Very cool, small venue. The sound system was so/so but the set up is nice. Also I think they had $2.50 Bush pint, which can't be bear. Staff was all cool and the bands went well together. I'll defidentally be returning.

They serve Labatts, Becks AND St. Paulis!!!

Great spot to have a drink

Couldn't figure out how to flush the toilet at first...the button is gone, but other than that, good price for beer, good..or interesting anyways, bands, and a nice building.

Definitely don't play here as a touring band or even a local band. They took money at the door but didn't give any of it to the bands. Also, just a glass of tap water costs $1, even if you're in a band playing there for free that night. The only upside was that the lady running sound was really sweet, but that doesn't make up for everything else.

Live bands... Genres vary depending on line up/occasion but certainly very nice venue for musical entertainment!

Great bar, awesome music venue even though it's super tiny! Best small music venue in Albany, no contest. To address some of the silly complaints here: Bathrooms are for PAYING CUSTOMERS only, just like most every business downtown. Water is free, no one pays for it. In fact, the band members all get a free alcoholic drink if they want one. The bands get paid only if they bring enough people in to cover costs, and they know that from the moment they're booked. It's not the bar's fault if your band has no following and you don't get paid.

It's a cozy little punk bar/music venue. A lot of local music, and everyone is really friendly.

Great place, needs to be closer to Syracuse cause the drive kills me now.
