The quality of the meat and poultry is second to none. I have been coming here for about 2.5 years and I realize it gets very busy. My wife called ahead and placed an order on the phone to be picked up today. When i went to the cashier to ask where I go for phone in orders he gruffly replied take a number. Now there had to be 25 people waiting with numbers. It is labor day weekend.So i said to the fellow why did I call in my order. Whats the benefit? He replied with the snooty answer that is up to you. If they encouraged customers to call in orders ahead of time it would be more efficient for them. They could have one cashier and area for all pick ups. This would be improve customer service by a mile and at the same time help them be more efficient. Eventually indifferent customer service will catch up and negatively effect your successful business. It always does.Get with the times!

This meat market is the real deal. Incredible meats and sausages awesome customer service and pretty much has anything any self respecting carnivore needs. If you buy your meat anywhere else you are just missing the boat.

I personally live in the Chicago suburbs and what I would like everyone to know that is Paulina market is a old-time butcher shop located roughly around Lincoln avenue and Belmont avenue in Chicago. This meat market deli is phenomenal it has a vast array of fresh meat poultry pork many different types of fresh sausages a deli area with many kinds of smoked meats from different nationalities along with a small grocery and wine area that is to die for. If you need a special roast or something else for a dinner party or to enjoy a great evening at home with a bottle of wine please visit Paulina market you will definitely not be disappointed it is a phenomenal market to visit check them out sometime!

So much to choose from: fresh cuts and cold cuts, encased meats of all kinds, condiments, cheese and friendly staff. They do get busy. Carnivores paradise.

Paulina does a top notch job - their meat is exceptional as is their poultry and pork. Try the smoked bacon - fantastic!

Best local butcher in Chicago. Nicest fellows behind the counter. Samples always offered. Prices not out of line with WF and there are real butchers. Make all their own sausages/brats and beef jerky. Nice selection of specialty grocery and prepared food as well. Check hours and closed Sundays.

I came in for the first time and the guy behind the counter was SO helpful and kind. He helped me find everything I needed (even in the aisles) & the meat looks awesome. They also had a bunch of stuff I would not find in a typical grocery store. Will definitely be coming back

While I enjoy the products here, the slow service stops me from coming here more often. Their pitfall is that they have one employee serve one customer - from number being called to payment. Dedicate a person at the cash register, sandwich counter, etc. I’ve rarely seen an employee use the cash register error free. Extend all those little trip ups to every step of the operation, and it makes for a slow slow process. I seriously love the food here, and I’d go 4 times as often if it wasn’t a 20-30 minute ordeal for pre-packaged goods.

The most consistently, high quality shopping experience one could ever expect. While the counter staff doesn't typically exude much personality, they are most professional, helpful and never treat customers with any condescending attitude while answering novice questions. Oh yeah, and the product is fresh and vast.

The meat is excellent! They got the best pastrami. Also, they have good frozen soups. The prices are slightly high but the quality is high. I highly recommend this meat market.
