Nice bread, sourdough, large assortment, in a small cozy shop. But come on time, otherwise it's up! 😃

This is the best bakery in Amsterdam, easily. The whole grains are deliciously baked and the staff are more than helpful. If you need something specific than you can place an order and pick it up. The rolls and cakes and breads are all delicious. It is worth coming to even if you are just visiting the area — get some baked goods for snacking!

Delicious bread.

Very kind owner, who trusted a tourist to come back and pay later when no ATM would work for me and my credit card also wouldn't process payment. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality!

I have been buying my bread here for years because it is so delicious. The only bakery that comes close is Hartog, perhaps Hartog's six-grain bread is slightly better than Annee's Allinson. But the sourdough with sunflower seeds is again unrivaled, Hartog does not have that. Also recommended: tofu buns, the large nut-raisin bun and the bun bread on Saturdays. This Annee clearly makes tastier bread from the Annee in the Runstraat; they are two different bakers, although they are heirs to the same Paul Annee 40 years ago.
