Do it. No regrets. Buy cool stuff. You know you want to if you are looking this up. Eat at the cafe. Get the strawberry cake. Love it. You will get verklempt. Don't try and hide it. Everyone else is too.

Beautiful museum and a must visit for Ghibli fan!!Do keep in mind that all admission is by advance reservation only. No ticket purchase can be made on the spot. We purchased the tickets online (LAWSON TICKET). Tickets go on sale from 10:00 (Japan time) on the 10th of each month for the following month. We almost couldn't get the tickets because the tickets on certain time of entry were sold out very fast (within minutes).

The Straw hat cafe is a fun little visit and the food was tasty. The museum itself is epic. A great opportunity to see the working spaces of the creator's. Great homages to the film's, especially the earlier work. A great Studio Ghibli sort is played at a small cinema. It's very busy and there are lines to get in, the cinema and the cafe. Very much worth a visit.
